Beautiful home close to the ski resorts. This is a spacious basement apartment with 3 bdrms, 1 bath (with sauna), living room, fully stocked Kitchen, and pool table/ game room.

This is not a party house! If you are going to have guests you must let us know prior.

Close shopping, restaurants , ski shops, and UTA bus transportation. Downtown Salt Lake and SLC Airport are a 15 minutes drive. Explore Big & Little Cottonwood canyons, Skiing, rock climbing, hiking, cycling and mountain biking. 20-30 minutes to all the ski resorts in SLC and Park City depending on road conditions. The homeowners live upstairs.

We stayed with Shelli over thanksgiving. They were so kind and quick to help with any requests we had within minutes. The basement is adorable, and comfortable. We had our grandkids come over and stay and made some amazing memories there. We will defiantly stay here again.

Great location for a ski vacation!

We had a great stay in Shelly’s and John’s basement apartment. The kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed the sauna each night after skiing and there was plenty of space for all five of us. The hosts went above and beyond with any request that we had.

Great place to stay

Very clean, great space, good location for traveling to the mountains for adventures. Would definitely stay here!!! Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get a good night’s sleep during our stay. The unit is located in the basement of the owners’ home with no private entrance, and noise from upstairs carries straight through the floor. The first night was the worst, with loud walking and movement late at night and again around 4–6:30 a.m. Other nights were only manageable because we used loud white noise and earplugs.The space itself is clean, comfortable, and well equipped, but if you’re anything less than a very heavy sleeper, the noise from upstairs will likely be an issue.

Relaxing stay

What perfect place to stay and enjoy our family celebrating time together. Conveniently located. We enjoyed chatting with the owners outsides in their beautiful front yard. Sherri is very friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed.

Great stay in central Salt Lake City!

This is a GREAT VRBO, with fantastic hosts! We stayed for 4-5 nights, and everybody really enjoyed it! The accommodations (inside & out) are top-notch and well cared for. Shelli and her 'peeps' are great hosts, and very communicative throughout the entire process. Moreover, every request we had was satisfied promptly and graciously. Definitely would stay again!

Beautiful home,, perfect location

We stayed with Shelli for 8 on a ski trip.... Her home is beautiful..... Everything was spotless, well appointed, tons of space, great kitchen... The sauna and pool table were a welcome bonus. Location makes getting to the ski areas really easy. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again

a good option for ski trip

all in all, the place was probably better than the description and pictures. great beds, very clean, well appointed.. the sauna was great, quality pool table.. it would be an easy five stars, but theres just something to be said for having your own space.. shelli and john are accommodating and friendly and offered us a boot dryer, very cool. again, the only knock is walking through someone elses space.

Ski trip - perfect stay!

Came up for a ski trip. Perfect stay!!!The location is great. Quick access/drive to both Cottonwood Canyons and conveniently located within 20 min drive from SLC airport. Various shopping and dining options within a short driving distance. Hosts were great!!! Extremely helpful, friendly, and assisted us with all our requests. Huge place with its own pool/ping pong table. TVs in every room. All spotless, with necessary stuff for your cooking, Kuerig coffe machine, etc. Boot dryer available as well.Definately come back again!

Very Modern and Clean

The hosts did an amazing job with the space! Very clean and new. Pool table is awesome, and can't say enough about the hosts as well. Also located perfectly to hit whatever mountain you want. Perfect!

Myself and 4 groomsmen stayed here for three nights leading up to and after the wedding and had the absolute BEST time. We played zombies on the big tv downstairs on my Ps5, Smash bros etc, and loved the pool table. Played hours of ping pong each night as well (not show in pictures but there’s a ping put set up you attach to the pool table and it’s high quality) .Shelli was a dream. I had a special request that was for something not normally allowed, and she was willing to work with me very graciously. If you’re looking to party hard, drink and get rowdy with friends, this won’t be the place for that as it still is a basement unit and likely you’ll be audible to the family that sleeps at the top level. If you’re a more quiet group that can keep volume down a bit and be responsible, I think it’s the perfect spot to stay for your vacation/getaway!Thank you Shelli! Would love to return with a small group one day and maybe enjoy the yard next time! Forgot to even check it out due to the basement having so many activities!10/10 recommended, 10/10 would and will do again.-Doug F

Great Stay!

Location was so convenient & Safe! Beautiful neighborhood. The trees lining the streets were all in bloom when we arrived. It was only 2 miles from where we were hosting an event. (We cooked in the kitchen all one day with plenty of counter space... yay) It's so close to tons of shopping, and yummy restaurants. We happily used the Sauna on the last evening of our stay to unwind before our trip home. We will definitely try to book here if we are in the area again. Thumbs up!

Not appropriate for vrbo

This is a finished basement and not a separate unit or whole home. The entry is into a basement through an occupied home, with the sigle entry/exit that was not lockable. There was an occupant and a dog in the front hallway, when we arrived. VRBO was supposées to review and Correct the listing. My family was not comfortable. We did not stay and was not refunded by the owner for the inaccurate listing. Suggest speaking with VRBO and owner before reserving.

Close to the canyons

The homeowners live in the upstairs of this house. They were very pleasant to all of us during our entire stay. Shelli even let us drop our stuff off early so we didn’t have to take all of our luggage to the mountain. The kitchen is very nice and they stock it with a lot of utensils. I wanted to use the stationary bike that was upstairs and they brought it down for me which was super cool. The sauna works excellently. One morning we ran out of coffee and the hosts gave us a bunch of theirs so we didn’t have to hit the store before the mountain. Without traffic going up the canyon we were a very short drive up to Brighton and Snowbird. Also was a very short ride to the airport. The house is on a cul-de-sac in a nice neighborhood. Just beware that you enter through the homeowners floor of the house. I would definitely stay in this house again if I decided to visit Salt Lake City in the future.
