This home was perfect for our family of seven. It had everything we needed during our stay while attending a wedding. The location was ideal and very close to the venue, with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the home itself was comfortable and well-maintained.Kelly, our host, was amazing and made us feel very welcome. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would love to return the next time we’re in Corpus Christi. We would definitely rent this home again.

Great house!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking and grilling. The home was very clean and well-organized. This property is centrally located to all the fun experiences Corpus Christi has to offer! The only minor issue we had was that the backyard could have used a bit of mowing, but it didn’t take away from our overall great experience! Kelly thought of everything, and we would stay here again!

Updated home with all the amenities needed

We enjoyed our stay and Kelly was great at communicating about the trip. There is just about everything you need at the house and it is centrally located to the aquarium, beach, stores and restaurants. The only thing that could have been better, were the floors being cleaned better. Our baby who is crawling had dirt all over him the first day but we were able to mop with the mop left in the garage and that helped.

The house was as nice as it says it was. Newly remodeled and plenty of space. The backyard was a nice size and was a nice place to relax. The only downside was the communication with the host. I originally reached out to the host a few weeks before and had to reach out again the next week before she responded. On the day of arrival, we didn't receive any information to check in. We called and messaged the host with no response. We sat on the phone with vrbo agents for over an hour while they attempted to make contact. At 7:15pm they decided to put us in a hotel for the evening in hopes the host would respond. We had gone grocery shopping while waiting for vrbo to contact the host thinking we'd be in the house by the time we finished. Around 8:20, the host finally contacted us and sent the check in information. Even though we had finally settled into the hotel, we decided to go to the house so that we wouldn't waste the groceries we bought. We were in town for my nephew's proposal to his girlfriend. My mom, who was staying with us, was making his cake for the engagement dinner. Since she lost 5 hours of prep time that evening, she was not able to hang out at the beach with us the following morning because she had to use that time to make the cake. Afterwards, the host was available and very responsive, but the day of, after being in the car with 2 teenagers and a toddler for 8 hours, it was very inconvenient to have no contact with her and no way in.

Our stay in Rome was a success due in large part to our decision to stay in this wonderful property. First, our hosts (Cynthia and Paola) could not have been more kind or more thoughtful. They helped us with everything! They were welcoming, answered all of our questions, checked on us regularly and even helped set us up with transportation and gave us suggestions for restaurants, shops, etc. The property was beautiful, very clean, safe and close to everything. I had work meetings to get to and this location made my travel for work so easy. But, since it was situated In such a great area, we also were able to enjoy the evenings. The elevator helped so much (if you have stayed in Rome before, you know how much access to an elevator can help when it comes to luggage). We even met some of the neighbors in the building and they too were wonderful. All around perfect place for us. The only hard part was leaving. We are already planning our next trip back and we plan to stay here again. Thank you, Cythina, Paola and Maria.
