This lovely cottage is nestled within a fabulous and historic compound built in 1682 by Sir Robert Southwell. perched overlooking Kinsale harbour. They appear as a listed attraction on most tourist information on Kinsale. They are offered to guests for the first time in their 341 year history.
The cottage has been fully restored and is presented with all necessary conveniences. There is a separate fully fitted kitchen, complete with coffee making machine, induction worktop, quality cookware and a built-in washer drier.
There is a cosy sitting room with original beams, a wood-fired stove, a nook with a comfortable double sofa bed, and television.
Upstairs offers a bedroom with a queen-size bed, built in robes, dormer windows with shutters. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
There is a lovely communal garden in from of the cottage and a short walk will take you to all the fabulous restaurants and historic attractions that Kinsale has to offer.
