It was a cute house located near historic downtown McKinney. The surrounding houses and neighborhood had very cute/historic homes as well. The hosts were super easy to get a hold of and lived near so it gave me peace of mind knowing they were close if anything went wrong, which nothing did.
Molly & Trey were, by far, the best hosts I have ever encountered. I truly appreciate the hosts' hospitality and care to our guests. I would recommend this place and any other place the hosts have simply for their kindness and excellent communication.
The house was charming with bright lights and windows, and doors that can be closed to section off parts of the house for others if needed, a spacious back yard and lawn with a great back porch setting area. I appreciated that they had spices and the necessary items to cook with. All the appliances worked great. We appreciated the fresh eggs Molly gave us, too. It was a nice and quaint place in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. I would most definitely stay there again.
We loved our stay. The home had everything we needed. The home was comfortable and clean. The house was very cute inside and out. Communication with the host was clear and the location was great.
The house, yard and hosts were terrific!
Molly was a great host. Always took care of our needs. The location of the house is within so many activities and things to do.

This home was the perfect place for our family get together. We were in town for a wedding and 15 met for dinner then had coffee and dessert at the little house. The back porch was gathering place and it was just the right size. We loved every minute of it. The tidiness of the house, the decor, the space was perfect!
Highly recommended!
Nice house but this is an old house that has been remodeled. Amenities are nice and AC worked great. Very quiet neighborhood. Streets are narrow so if driving a wide vehicle avoid the side streets. Host was amazing with great communication. A little too far to walk downtown with chairs in the heat. No hesitation to stay again!
I can't rave enough about our stay here! The house was beautifully and uniquely decorated and extremely well-stocked. That was really helpful since I have a near 3-year-old who inevitably needed various household things like plastic baggies or paper towels that I hadn't anticipated needing. The yard was beautiful and spacious, and there's even a little pond! The hosts were also very communicative and thoughtful. I would give 10 stars if I could!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Fantastic home and property. Large backyard with a large deck. Immaculate kitchen and plenty of space for everyone to hang out. The hosts were more than accommodating.
Was in the area for my son’s week long baseball tournament. House is in the historic downtown area of McKinney. House and area has great character. Was easy to access shopping and great restaurants. Great access to the freeway for driving to baseball diamonds in the Melisa Texas area. Well worth the stay compared to a hotel room. Will use again when he cones back to play again.
We were living a holiday nightmare...our original registration with another vendor in Austin was canceled with no warning. Then our family decided to meet in Dallas and I lucked upon the Saint Raphael Place with just a week before Christmas. Things immediately began to get better with my first communication with Molly! Once she found out how awful things had been leading up to me making the reservation, she seemed determined to help me turn things around! She helped me place a grocery order (so that I didn't have to go grocery shopping on Christmas Eve when we arrived,) picked up the order so she could have things ready for us, then promised to stay available that night when our flight was delayed to make sure we were able to get in the house after midnight. They left a "welcome" treat for us in the kitchen and made us feel welcomed in their quaint home! The house was exactly as described, clean and decorated for the holidays! If there was a way to rate Saint Raphael Place with 10 stars, I would. I will definitely reserve the house again if a need arises! I truly believe Molly is an angel!!!

Why they chose this property
St. Raphael is the patron saint of travelers, the blind, bodily ills, happy meetings, nurses, physicians and medical workers. This historic house was originally built by a doctor in the 1940s who worked at the hospital next door. He wanted a sanctuary where he could rest but remain close to his patients. Saint Raphael Place is a joyful relaxing place for the weekend get away or extended stay. We give a special welcome to those who work in healthcare or military.
