Deer Creek is a wonderful home with a quiet surrounding. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms this house offers privacy with only one bedroom with multiple beds in it. It sits in the Comanche Crossing Subdivision with access to the river that is within walking distance or a short drive to the private parking area. Outside offers a fire pit for outdoor enjoyment and large oak trees for relaxing during the hot summer days.

We’ve continued to return to Deer Creek specifically because we love the house and the location, being walking distance to the river. The staff were very helpful and the house was perfect for relaxing, especially outside on the porch or under the trees.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at both houses here for 5 years now for an annual dove hunt. House offers multiple beds for more people to be able to sleep comfortably. Plenty of bathrooms, parking, and space to roam around. Scenery is great, and house is private which is nice. Private parking at the river is always a plus when visiting the frio. Definitely recommend Deer Creek or Casa De Arroyo for your stay. We have 18 people come on the hunt every year, and this is the perfect setup!

A couple of things about the house, the 2 front rooms did not have A/C they were very hot. We got fans to help with the heat but it was not great. Also, I did not know that the house did not have a dishwasher. We had to wash dishes the old-fashioned way.

No road traffic or noise was a real plus. The house backs up to a small hill. Just remember to be responsible for your own towels and linens.
