2025 Frio Family Trip!

Overall the stay was amazing and all three families had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful pool. I didn’t give a high rating just because come check in day we had to ask for check in instructions. The house wasn’t fully ready because the cleaning ladies had to come back to bring toilet paper and paper towels which wasn’t until a hour and a half. One of the beds in the outside room didn’t have its bedding. The kitchen had an ugly odor after the mopping. It may have been the mop itself. No wash clothes were provided just 4 towels for each room but yet it sleeps 26 people and we were there 3 nights, one of the refrigerators wasn’t cooling. We had 3 families bring food so we literally had to cram the fridge items in one. Only the freezer worked well. The coffee pot maker kept getting clogged. Definitely needs upgraded kitchen appliances and utensils.

Frio Fun!

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for our 3 families with children. The pool was excellent and we loved how the main part of the house was a great place to gather but we still had the privacy of your own room/space. We would definitely book this house again!

Clary bunch

Second year to rent. Really liked pickleball court. Would like to see lights added for night play. A/C worked better this year. Ceiling fans would be nice for bedrooms. Great house, nice pool.

Unbelievable house and location

We were all extremely happy with the layout. If we wanted private time we could go to our own room. Lots of table space for family meals. Lots of pots n pans and utensils. 5 star for sure SO HAPPY!!

Spacious

The facility itself was spacious and organized for comfort and large group interaction. Nicely supplied with appliances but poorly equipped with cook ware and dinner ware for a large group. Only 4 coffee mugs and not enough bowls. Cookware poorly supplied, only one medium size frying pan One medium size pot. Plenty of baking sheets that ended up being very useful The towel ring in the half bathroom in the living area was unusable and one of the bathroom faucets came off when we opened it. ( we repaired it) The bedrooms are very spartan, no chairs and nothing but the floor to place your luggage on and no hangers to place your cloths. Towels were worn and some falling apart. Overall clean except cookware drawers had some crumbs and food fragments.

Nice, clean home

The house was very clean upon arrival. Easy check in process. This house is great for large families. We all loved the privacy with the bedrooms being off of the main house. Host was always available to answer any questions that we had.

So much fun!

This house was a fantastic spot to have a low key bachelorette! The way the rooms are set up are perfect for multiple people/families. The pool is wonderful and the kitchen is large with a HUGE open floor plan for the main area of the house (including the kitchen, dining room, and living room). The girls had a blast and it was right next to cow pasture and just a few minutes away from where we entered the Frio!

Nice getaway in Concan

This house was perfect for my family, we all had our own bedroom with a private bathroom and AC. The main house was perfect, we enjoyed the open and spacious family room, which accommodated the whole family. The extra bathrooms were a plus, especially for a large family. We especially enjoyed the pool, where we spent our late afternoons and evenings.

Family Gathering

We had a small family reunion with teens and adults. Although the river was low. We had the pool and the house and rooms were perfectly set up for groups. The kitchen was huge but we grilled almost every meal to keep everyone involved. Everyone loved the huge table allowing everyone to sit down together, play games, and just talk. The 2 refrigerators were a blessing! The owner was so nice and helpful in checking in and out. Hope to return next year!

Perfect

Loved the layout of the house, the pool, the space, the tree in the back and the parking spaces, washer and dryer, two refrigerators. Convenient to the water. Host responses were great. Highly recommend it for large groups of all ages. Family had a great time at karaoke at Joe Jimmie’s nearby! We will be back!

Great Family Fun!

It is a great place for a family get together. The lay out of the house allows you to be apart of the fun in the large living and kitchen area and you can see the pool and outdoor lounging area. The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms which wonderful for a large group and there was plenty of hot water. Charlie is a wonderful host, he responded very quickly to any questions and was so helpful. The family had a wonderful time!!

Labor Day Weekend Stay

Pictures on here don't do this place justice! We had an absolute blast and the owner was quickly available to all of our questions. Great location. Will definitely be staying again.

Family trip June 2022

The check in/out process was super simple. And although there was no flowing water in the river, we had a great time at the house. We really enjoyed the pool! We loved that the pool is fenced, gave us peace of mind. The house had plenty of space for all of us, there were 16 of us and 2 dogs, and there is plenty of restrooms. The kitchen is stocked with the basics, pots and pans, blender, cups, plates, silverware etc. We were able to wash clothes as well since it's stocked with a washer and dryer. Over all we had lots of fun and look forward to booking again for next year.
