Surf Song #350 - This is a wonderful opportunity to vacation near all the amenities of southern Madeira Beach! Here you will find a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo with a nice side view beach balcony! Close to the pristine white sandy beaches, heated swimming pool and popular John's Pass Village, everything is just steps away! Free Wifi Please note this condo does not have a phone.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Tiled throughout for ease and cleanliness with tropical decor, step inside to discover a full kitchen stocked with utilities, including microwave, coffeemaker, and everything you need to enjoy your stay. The spacious dining and living area, complete with comfortable seating and large plasma television, leads to the outdoor balcony. Discover incredible views while soaking in the Florida sunshine. The master bedroom contains two queen beds. Please note there is no TV in the bedroom. As of July 11, 2024, the photos have not been updated so a TV is still showing in the bedroom. Fresh linens, extra pillows, plenty of towels are provided.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking rental.

As a guest of 350 Surf Song, you will find you are centrally located to all of the area's amenities. This includes the one of a kind beaches, heated swimming pool, and BBQ facilities. Located across the street, is popular John's Pass Village. The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's number 1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This Gulf getaway has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Hidden Gem in a beautiful beach town

This has far been my favorite place to vacation in Florida. Condo/Apartment is beautiful set right on the beach. Balcony can look out to the beach. Very quiet area and those staying at Surf Song were very friendly. Didn’t really need a car as John’s Pass was across the street. Definitely will stay here again. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Great Time

Hotel looks older on the outside but rooms are nice. Staff was nice. Everything is close lots to fun stuff to do. Beach was beautiful great white powder sand. If you like to grill out the gils are nice. Found a great butcher 10 min away called Shaners Land and Sea Market. Great Bacon wrapped filet, salmon, chicken kabobs lots more. With 2 teen age boys going out was costing way more and they we’re still hungry. Grilling out was way better. We were there for 2 weeks had a great time.

Reviewer Comments: Surf Song is directly on Madeira Beach, and directly across the street, from John’s Pass (boardwalk, ice cream shops, restaurants, souvenir, shops, nightly, entertainment, boat, rentals, etc.) You could not ask for a better location.The complex offers outdoor, covered parking, which we really appreciated. The pool area and pool was kept very clean. Bbqs on site as well.We stayed in condo # 350 and loved it : the apartment was clean, the furniture was modern, the kitchen was very well stocked with glasses, plates, platters pots, etc. The bathroom also had sufficient towels for 4 people as well as two rolls of toilet paper. Surf Song’s policy is that bed linens, bath towels, toilet paper and kitchen towels are replaced after nine days. They provide the change but do not make the beds - it is up to the guests to do so.To be clear, I prefer it this way as I rather that nobody comes into the apartment during our stay. We did need to buy our own toilet paper however as 2 rolls did not suffice for 4 people for 10 days. To be fair, we did not ask the office for more so cannot say if they would have supplied more upon request.The 3 suggestions that I would make:1- have a handyman urgently take a look at the elevator - the sound going up was very scary - it felt like the cables would give way at any moment!2- the mattresses could use an update as we sank towards the centre of the bed3- VERY Important - the parking spaces are numbered to match the condo door number - this is horrible in my opinion and made us feel unsafe. I suggest that the numbering be assigned randomly, and NOT match the door number.Customer service was fabulous - communication was clear and quick at all times. A special shout out to Dawn!We would absolutely return! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful but guests deserve better, neglected property

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have come to the Surf Song since I was a teenager. I now bring my own young family there and the condo has a very special place in my heart. However, over the past few years the location has clearly been neglected. The unit in particular has not been upgraded in years. It had outlets that did not work, the mattreses are awful, the vanity in the bathroom is in very bad shape, the dresser in the bedroom has drawers that are falling out. And while the rooms are always well cleaned, the age and wear of the unit is getting more and more evident each year. The common space was not enjoyable due to a very apparent lack of oversight and attention to the property. I know the management cannot control the guests that stay there, but they should at least be available to monitor and enforce the rules. There were cans and trash left around the pool and patio area almost every night. Shouting matches seem to occur nightly with no regard to the “quiet time”, that is posted. Guests were smoking cigarettes inside the pool, and chairs set up inside the pool area. An incident with animal feces was left unaddressed for hours while the management simply said “that’s not our responsibility”. This left the pool inaccessible for much longer than necessary. Aside from the new surface of the shuffle board court and new paint job on the front of the building, this property has sadly gone down in quality each year, all while raising prices to keep up with neighbors. While I’m sure I will return to the Surf Song, as the access to the beach and location of the pool is wonderful, I sadly have seen it go downhill each year. Loyal guests who have been visiting for decades deserve better.

The balcony was mediocre-the view was definitely as stated and obscured from rooftop air conditioning units so we didn’t end up using much. The only true negative for us was how uncomfortable the beds were-extremely hard mattresses (may have been the old type with springsvin the top mattress)-if these could be updated or pillow ttoppers added it would be fantastic. The pool was great and you certainly cant beat the closevwalk to the beach and restaurants!!
