Stunning, beautiful property that was simply magical with the fall foliage and unexpected lovely warm weather in October. We travel to the area often and would absolutely love to stay here again--just a fabulous unique property that is incredibly well-appointed and expertly designed. Lilypad Lake house was perfect for our group of 4. Easy access for a disabled person. Hope to go back next year, easy access to ATV Trails from there.

What an absolute gem located just outside of Hayward! The home has everything you could possibly need and is immaculate, including very tasteful/beautiful decor throughout. A bonus for us was the cement patio that had a solo stove which was lovely to have running on a chilly day. We 100% recommend this property and would not hesitate to book again.

Lovely and relaxing

Such a nice stay. We bummed around Hayward on a rain day, canoed on a sun day. And just relaxed and watched the water in between. Just what we needed. The cabin was comfy and cozy. Thank you!

Hayward

The stay was amazing! The only issue we found was navigating the boat from the dock to big lake. A lot of lilly pads and bogs but once we find a clear path it was fine. Great home and outdoor bonfire area was beautiful. One suggestion would be just to add a nightstand to the master bedroom for water and phone. Other than that we had everything we needed.

Getaway

Overall the property was exactly as described. The master sink was awkward, you could barely get your hands under the faucet to get water. Communication with property management was great. Access to the property was easy and the heated floors were nice! The property was very roomy with lots of natural light!

Great long weekend stay

Stayed for 3 nights for our anniversary. Really enjoyed ourselves. Even though it rained the whole weekend we still had a great time staying at the house. The heated floors were very nice! Short drive to plenty of key areas for shopping, bars, restaurants, etc. UTV trail access from the driveway so you don’t have to load/ unload each time to ride. Kind of sucked that we came up 4 days before all the trails opened but that was our own fault. Only negative was the fact that there is no AC, so the house can get a little “stuffy” but opening the windows, and letting the cool breeze in off the lake quickly took care of that. Back patio was very nice to sit and relax also. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Location is great!

This rental is absolutely beautiful inside and out! It is in a very private location on a quiet lake. The location is stunning. The cabin contains every need you could possibly think of, plus some. We found it to be a very comfortable stay. My two criticisms are this: The cleaning service they use does not detail clean, so there was evidence of prior guests under the edges of furniture (pet hair, dust) and on surfaces especially in the kitchen. Our biggest complaint, however, was that there were no shovels on the property. Because of a large snowstorm the day before (12 inches), we delayed arrival by a day. We even communicated this to the property manager. When we got there, the driveway had been plowed but we had to trudge through deep snow to enter the cabin. It wasn't a long distance, but it was irritating. Because of no snow shovels, we had no access to the deck (thus no grill) and no way to access the lakefront because of the deep snow and layered decks/inclined backyard. This was maddening because of the amount of money we lost for missing a night's stay, especially given the extra time that the owner's had to shovel the cabin out for us. I feel the owner should have reached out to check in with us knowing the storm that had happened.
