My place is a beautiful NEW year-round designer cabin on Rush Lake that we call “The Glory Cabin”

Rush Lake is known in the area for being one of the best walleye fishing & family hangout lakes year-round!

The Cabin is Located in Ottertail County (Lakes Area). This county has the most lakes than any other county in Minnesota & the USA! Therefore, this area is one of the most popular vacation destinations for boating and fishing!

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (3 showers & a soaker tub) on the main floor and 2 sleeping lofts on the second floor which give you plenty of room to have a family gathering and spread out during your stay.

The main floor features the master bedroom with a king-size bed with custom adjustable mood lighting, a walk-in closet, and a full bathroom with a large soaker tub with shower. Also, the master bath has a second walk-in shower.

All showers have huge rainfall shower heads & a tankless water heater system that provides unlimited continual hot water (so no one has to take a lukewarm shower). There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after playing in the lake in the summer months.

The other two bedrooms include Bedroom 2 featuring a Queen size bed and Bedroom 3 featuring a twin over full bunk. Down the hall, you'll find a 3/4 bathroom, laundry room, and a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with all you need to feel right at home!

The Great room area features tall vaulted ceilings and beautiful views of the Lake can be seen on both levels from multiple picture windows. The sunsets are some of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve traveled to over 40 countries!

The second-floor loft features 2 sleeping & hang-out areas with a total of 3 twins over full bunks and a double bed & a custom kids' play area with stuffed animals & games to keep the kids entertained & having fun.

Enjoy Radiant in-floor heat, a Hot outdoor sauna, a Pro massage chair, ice baths, and a gas fireplace for those cold days. Our guests love our swing seats & movable bean bags. PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE CHAIR!
We wanted to add something to help our guests fully relax & recharge. So we bought a professional massage chair! We decided to buy the higher-end model with heat, foot & arm massage & zero gravity tilt relax mode. It even scans your body size to calculate the perfect Massage for each individual person. You’ll love it!

NEW! - RED LIGHT THERAPY
We’ve added movable red light therapy setups designed to help with relaxation, muscle recovery, pain relief, and overall wellness. A great way to unwind after a day on the lake or in the sauna.

DECKED OUT KITCHEN -
The kitchen is decked out with a crockpot express power cooker/rice maker combo, and Power XL air fryer/grill. Plenty of pots, pans, and baking sheets. Glass push button Water boiler, toaster, wine glasses & more…

NEED MORE SPACE??? - BUNKHOUSE
We do have an additional 500 sq ft bunkhouse with 4 extra beds, bathroom & shower that is available for groups 12 or more. It sleeps 5 people. It is Right next to the main Glory Cabin.

====== THINGS TO DO IN SUMMER

NEW ICE BATHS NOW AVAILABLE!
Since our guests loved our portable ice baths, we decided to double down and buy top of the line stainless steel cedar ice baths for our guests to enjoy!

To use them - you fill them up with the well water, which is freezing cold, then if you want it even colder, you can add ice cartons which we provide in our freezer. (Availability of outdoor ice baths may be limited in extreme freezing weather, but portable's can still be easily set up & used within indoor showers)

NEW INFLATABLE WATERSLIDE FOR CHILDREN
We have just added a new inflatable waterslide for children age 10 & under. Kids absolutely love this thing! It blows up in the backyard and creates countless hours of fun. easy way to keep an eye on your kids. Summertime only.

This extra amenity is free if you are willing to set it up and properly take it down and dry it out (it’s easy)

DOCK & LAKE ACCESS
During the summer months the dock is in, so bring your boat (Launch from nearby public access) and tie it up on the dock and enjoy all the recreation that the beautiful Minnesota summer months have to offer. (Dock gets removed in Oct for winter)

AFFORDABLE PONTOON & BOAT RENTAL
We can help you find an affordable Pontoon or fishing boat rental in the area. Message us before your stay and we will give you info on the most affordable places to rent from. Please make sure you make your pontoon rental as soon possible (before your stay) because boat rentals get booked quickly.

PADDLE BOARDS & KYACKS
There are also paddle boards and kayaks available for guest use upon request for free. We have 4 plastic kayaks and 3 paddle boards. (Enough to take group trips). Once again, The sunsets are second to none!!!

NEARBY PARKS & BEACHES
If you are looking for the perfect getaway to enjoy nature any time of year, my cabin is in close proximity to several state parks such as Maplewood State Park and Glendalough State Park. Both parks have a number of hiking and paved bicycle trails to enjoy some of the most serene beauty in all the lakes area. There are a few public beaches within 10 miles.

There are some amazing “small town” coffee shops that you can check out if you want to enjoy the local coffee & shopping scene.

VERY PEACEFUL & QUIET LOCATION!
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is quiet and tranquil. I live in the city, so I often come up here just to escape the city’s chaos & noise. You often will hear lunes calling & Sometimes you can even spot bald eagles flying overhead! Sometimes deer come into the yard & peacefully pay a visit. Truly, Nature has a way of mesmerizing the soul!

THE HOUSE IS VERY CLOSE TO THE LAKE ACCESS. So, For the winter enthusiast, bring your snowmobiles and race along nearby trails or bring your ice fishing gear and catch some walleye on the lake!

GAS GRILL
In the summer, there is a gas grill & charcoal grill. But you must bring your own gas & charcoal. You can buy charcoal or propane in town at Carr’s Supermarket, (we do provide the empty propane tank that can be easily refilled ).

FIRE PIT
Also, there is a fire pit & plenty of comfy camping chairs. (Firewood is not included/provided, but can be bought in town)

MANY HAMMOCKS
In the summertime, there are hammocks outside. They are amazing place to relax & catch a sunset, or if you’re very adventurous, you can sleep in them and watch the stars!

GOLF & RESTAURANTS
Golf courses, coffee shops, and nice restaurants are within 10 miles.

SHOPPING & BOUTIQUES
There are a number of really cute, small town, shopping boutiques nearby in Ottertail and Perham. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee while you go shopping with your friends!

You can bring your snowmobiles, portable ice houses, ATV’s, etc… There is plenty of parking in our driveway & in the cul-de-sac (if you want to bring serious equipment). The lake access is super close if you need to drive on the lake to drop equipment off.

But if you need help, we know ice fishing guides & houses you can rent/hire.

8). SKI & SNOWBOARD -
If you want to spend some time skiing, snowboarding, or sledding, My Cabin is located only 25 miles from Detroit Mountain.

SUPER FRIENDLY & SAFE COMMUNITY -
One final thing I will mention is that the small-town Minnesota people in this area are extremely friendly. The laid-back, safe, friendly personalities of the people in this community makes time spent here even more enjoyable & restful.
