The good: the place has everything we we wanted in a bachelor's getaway. Even the kitchen was stocked with the essentials to cook with. Basic spices, oils, flour, sugar ect...The bad: keep in mind these are pretty small issues for a group of men but I could see a maybe a group of women possibly having issues with was the hot tub cover was not designed for the tub its on so be careful when removing. The water pressure is

This was a beautiful house with great amnesties. The pond on the property was filled with bass and bluegill and we had a great time fishing. The house was conveniently located near town and was setup nicely for a relaxing weekend.

This property was perfect for our group, plus the property owners were very kind and very communicative. There is a lot to do (between the hot tub and fishing pond and firepit and game room, etc.), and we really enjoyed ourselves. We saw deer in the yard every single day, and it was a very peaceful getaway. I would recommend this property to anyone!

The host was very informative and shared any information we would need. She was quick to respond when we had a question. The cabin is an excellent place to sit back and relax. Had everything we needed. We actually looked to book again for the summer so we could enjoy the pond and pool. Everything was clean and there was enough towels, blankets, and pillows available for use.
We enjoyed lots of wildlife every morning.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. It was perfectly laid out for our family and the space felt even better in person. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed which made meals easy and enjoyable. The property is beautiful and watching the deer wander through was incredibly peaceful. We highly recommend this cabin and our family will definitely be coming back.

We are a Bunco group who try to take a trip together every year. This year there were 8 of us. We spent a day enjoying the pool and another day shuttling on the wine trail. The house was a perfect place to hang in the evenings.

Beautiful home

This home was so beautiful, clean and well maintained. The log cabin, the wooded surroundings and the wildlife is such a peaceful feeling. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pond, pool table and all the extras this home had. The hosts, Frank and Kathy, were so extremely attentive and helpful. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Annual Family Trip was amazing!

We had a lovely time at the property. Kasia and Frank are wonderful hosts who really understand the motto "it's in the details". We have 5 kids ranging from 7-15 and they loved the pool, playing yard games throughout the beautiful property, and fishing. The adults loved the pool deck and gorgeous firepit. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite houses!! Pictures do not do it justice. The grounds are so beautiful. House is very spacious and other than a step or two, is handicap accessible (I needed a walker due to an ankle injury and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get around the house with a walker). Host was very responsive to questions. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Plenty of games and puzzles to do. Kids loved the pool table, pool, and hot tub. Pool was large, a good temperature, and the cleanest pool we have ever seen (they have a robot vacuum which does a great job). Bring your fishing poles- the fish do bite (my son got 3 in ten minutes). Was gorgeous and would definitely recommend. We did some hiking- Garden of the Gods was our favorite. Kids highly recommend the inflatable island at Lake Egypt (40 min drive). The bed in the master bedroom was firm and the others were soft so I would recommend trying the bed before you pick your room. They have some raccoon friends that try to get in the garbage cans every night which you can see from 2 of the rooms and my kids sat by the windows every night and watched them and thought it was the greatest thing ever. Definitely a memorable trip and would stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Exceeded Expectations

Found this gem by accident. We were looking for something close to home but wanted to feel like we were on a resort. This cabin was exactly what we needed- high end and extremely private. Don’t pack much because they provide just about everything! We enjoyed watching all the wild life and listening to the kids giggle while playing in the pool - just a relaxing time and making new memories. Very close to town if you need to grab incidentals or try some local restaurants. We will definitely be returning and already planning our next trip. You will enjoy the hosts Kathy & Frank - very attentive!

Our Stay Was Fantastic!

We loved our entire trip. We all said the pictures do not do the house justice. Beautiful property & fantastic hosts. They have catch and release fishing, the pool is large and clean, hot tub is hot. Everything is well thought out. Leave your beach towels at home, they have plenty. Beds are comfortable! The only thing we could think was missing is kayaks or canoes, but that is a luxury not a need. I hate to go on too much or it may never be available to book again! Haha! Possibly the best rental we have stayed in.
