Sunsets In The Cove" is a large 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, year-round house on Lamoka Lake!

The house has 100' lake front with a dock. Enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake and those stunning sunsets.

The space:

Breathe deep, exhale, and let your cares melt away. Plenty of yard space for outdoor activities.
You will never want to stay in a hotel or condo again! Enjoy your morning coffee or tea gazing at panoramic water views on the patio or in the master bedroom. Spend the day exploring the lake, hiking to one of the many waterfalls nearby, sipping wine or brew beer along the Kekua or Seneca Wine trails, or letting the lake breeze wash over you while relaxing at the lake front.

The Master bedroom with full walk in shower is located at lake view with a King size sleep number bed. The second Queen bedroom has direct door access to the 2nd full size walk in shower bathroom.
The living room has a couch with two recliners and regular recliner. Feet up everyone!

The dining room has comfortable seating for 4 at a solid wood table with an additional 4 folding chairs to add to the party.

The fully stocked kitchen has a large island to prepare all your family meals or to gather over cocktails. Extra large Samsung refrigerator and dishwasher are always a plus with guests!

Livingroom and Queen size bedroom have TV's that run off wi-fi and Roku.

Outdoor activities abound here! The size of Lamoka Lake makes it superior for swimming, due to the water warming faster than the surrounding larger lakes. Fish off the dock, use our lake frontage to enter the water for a swim, or gather around the fire pit for a campfire & S’mores. We have a paddle boat, rowboat and canoe for your use.

Lamoka lake is centrally located to the Finger Lakes Region’s most popular attractions & activities. 9 miles to Seneca Lake, 7 miles to Keuka Lake and 7 miles to Watkins Glen International Race Track.

Whether you’re a couple seeking a romantic weekend, a family set on sharing an unforgettable week, or a group of friends looking to unwind and connect, we are anxious to accommodate you.

*Air conditioning is provided with window units in the King, Queen and Double bedrooms. The Livingroom has two ceiling fans to keep you comfortable.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire house, yard, deck (half roof for cooling shade and half open for you sun lovers) and lakefront. It has its own private parking area and entrance.

We enjoyed our stay at Lamoka Lake, especially the water view, nature (eagles, river otters, osprey) and sunsets. The house was clean and dog friendly. The area was peaceful and the location was close to other areas to visit. The host was responsive when needed.

Location and property were great. My girls and I spend alot of time in the summer at Lamoka Lake because my brother has a property across the lake. Perfect place to make memories.

This property is a perfect vacation spot. It’s right on Lamoka Lake with beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for food prep and cooking! The host is generous with paper towels and TP. There are cleaning supplies for a longer stay. Host was available and helpful. WiFi worked great. Good location - only 20 minutes to Watkins Glen. Only disappointment was that we were not permitted to use washer/dryer - had to go to laundromat. I would highly recommend this property!

Nice quiet location on the lake

We stayed at this quaint little lake house during the upstate NY Fall colour changes. The house was clean and inviting for guests. The property has nice amenities such as the paddle boat, canoe, fire pit, and grill that the family enjoyed. The owner was helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful lake house

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. The kids were out on the boats everyday paddling around. We enjoyed the spacious back yard and enjoyed the yard games at the house. All the rooms were comfortable and the home was easy to get to and fit our needs.

30th Bday Wine Tour

We had an amazing time staying at this place celebrating our friends 30th Birthday. The kitchen was absolutely perfect and we loved that you could see the lake though the window. Perfect spot for going to winery’s on both lakes. The restaurant a mile away from the house is such an added bonus!

Summer by the lake

The property was as listed, with a short drive to other Finger Lakes and small towns in the area. Quiet neighborhood was enjoyed by all. Owner was very responsive to questions I had before our stay.

Place and host was outstanding

We were there to work an event at the Watkins Glen race track. The place was perfect for our team and the host was extremely accommodating and attentive to our visit. Without a doubt will be coming back. And the fishing was relaxing on a days off

Wonderfully peaceful

Both my brother and sister loved the setting and we all enjoyed our week at your house. It is so peaceful to sit out on the back porch and deck watching the wildlife and activity on the lake. We also talked with neighbors who were friendly and accepting. It was an emotional week for us (with the interment of our parents) so the peaceful environment was critical in keeping us grounded.

Great place to recharge your internal battery

This property is perfect. It's spacious, spotless and looks exactly like the pictures. Brian is always quick to respond to questions. The master bed is super comfortable and waking up to the view of the lake is incredible. The kitchen is huge making for a comfortable cooking experience. I was greeted with a hanging happy birthday sign as soon as I walked in the door. So incredibly thoughtful. The firepit is a nice feature that we took advantage of one evening. As for location, it's halfway between Hammondsport and Watkins Glen, so it's convenient to get around. My husband and I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Brian and Susan for sharing your home.

Hi, my name is Sue. I am originally from Elmira, just down the road. My family visited Lamoka Lake every summer growing up. I moved up here permanently in 2000. I enjoy spending time with my 2 children and granddaughter, horseback riding, boating, water skiing, crafts & my church community. Being a host is very involved, but I enjoy talking with new people, and sharing the beauty of my property and it's amazing sunsets!

Our property has the most breathtaking sunsets! In the summer it sets as you look directly across the lake, making for amazing photo opportunities. Personally I feel like we have the best open view on the lake!

We have one of the largest waterfront lawns on the lake! This gives you all of the room you need for the kids to play games, while more are sunbathing & a couple are getting the canoe ready to take out on the water.
