One suggestion - more towels please! There were only 2 towels provided for a 5-day stay.

Cozy Revisit

Nice Quiet Place

This was a comfortable, nice and quiet rental that was convenient for heading into town or over to the coast. It had a lovely view of the garden area, and the property manager was prompt to answer questions.

Really cute, private studio with private access

This place was perfect for everything we needed. The only thing that was confusing was reading the listing on VRBO, because the pictures posted are of two different rental spaces, but the owner clarified that it was a private space with a queen bed. I think the listing says that it's a twin bed, but it's a queen. The place was in a neat part of town near a beautiful park, and I highly recommend staying here for your trip to Coos Bay/North Bend!

I chose this place for its location near Mingus Park and the fact that it looked quiet. It was one of the best appointed rentals I’ve stayed at—every little thing I needed and went looking for could be found (except a pen or pencil). It smelled better than many coast motels or rentals—you know the smell I mean. It was a little bit hard to find and I arrived in drizzle, so I was a bit grumpy about that. It would be nice to have a number on or by the door. The bed was very comfortable and a variety of pillows available. The bathroom was gorgeously remodeled, though the exhaust fan sounded like it was about to fall out of the wall. The couch was comfy enough. Everything worked except I couldn’t get the fake fireplace to make heat even with the proper buttons on. It was warm enough with just the baseboard on in the morning. I am a teensy bit neurospicy, so for anyone else with exceptional sensory needs: For anyone who is sensitive to noise, the refrigerator makes a lot of noise/vibration and runs frequently. I turned the thermostat up and that lengthened the cycle, but still expect noisy motor sound to fill the front room once an hour. Other than that, it was a very quiet location, minimal traffic noise, periodic neighborhood dog serenades. The smells were all tolerable, although it took me a while to accept the “other people’s head smell” on the couch. For those who tastes too much detail, the water in the bathroom tastes metallic but the kitchen is fine.
