We're very sorry about the noise of the neighborhood animals. Living in the valley has its good and bad aspects I suppose, especially for folks who aren't used to the sounds of a rural life. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot we can do about roosters or dogs. It's unfortunate it created a less than wonderful experience for you. We can only hope the good outweighed this annoyance.

This "response" button is new so we're taking the opportunity to let you know what a pleasure it was to have you here in May and also to meet you Mendocino. We're happy you and Ben enjoyed the casita and pool so much. We only wish you had told us about your displeasure with the bed. Although the mattress is actually only 4 years old, and is not a metal spring mattress, had you mentioned its discomfort we would have been more than happy to purchase a new mattress that would have better suit your needs. Our goal is the comfort of our guests. Perhaps in the future, should you select another vacation rental, you will consider mentioning any problem or discomfort to the owner. Most of us in this business strive to have our guests totally enjoy their stay. We can't correct a problem we aren't aware of and since we've had no other complaints about the bed, were unaware it might be an issue. Good luck in your future travels.
