About this property

X Marks the Spot (Purple)

Your family will be close to everything when you stay here. Located right across the road from Lake Rudolph and Holiday World. Easy location to find and location is within walking/biking to the Dollar General, local grocery, our Santa Claus IN Post Office and several small town restaurants. Enjoy the quiet times with a picnic area and burn pit and grill. Right next door is X Marks the Spot (Green) if you need more space for family or friends.
Home sits in the small town but has trees behind it making it a quaint place to relax.
Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in our house. If it is found that your party has smoked inside the house, a cleaning fee of $300 will automatically be charged.
Due to sanitary issues, NO PETS are allowed inside or outside our house. Please make other arrangements for your pets prior to your trip.
We will provide sheets, blankets, pillows, bath and kitchen towels and washcloths. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheetsand a starter pack on toilet paper, trash bags and paper towel. There is also coffee, single serve coffee, creamer along with ketchup and mustard packets.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We really enjoyed our stay at X Marks The Spot (purple). The house was comfortable and roomy for our crew of 10!! It was so convenient to Holiday World…just a few minutes walk. The host was great to respond to questions quickly, and we will stay again in the future!

Worked great for me and my extended family would definitely book the property again for our next Holiday World visit. The house had a lot more amenities than I have found at other properties and you can practically walk to Holiday World if you wanted so it likely the closest proximity to the park compared to other places.

Great for family get away

Our family of 12 ranging in ages from adults to 2 years old stayed here for a weekend getaway to Holiday World. Location is literally across the street from the park! House was nice with a big open living room dining kitchen space. On-site laundry was convenient.Amy was very responsive to any questions I had before & during our stay! We had a great time at X Marks the Spot Purple!

Perfect for Holiday World

We stayed here while spending the weekend at Holiday World. It is very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the kids to run around. After a long day in the park it’s the perfect spot to go back to.

Location couldn’t have been better for our weekend at Holiday World. House was clean and laid out great. We had two family’s totaling 9 people and there was plenty of room. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you!!

This was perfect for our group of 11. Plenty of beds. Walking distance to the park. Firepit for hot dogs and marshmallows. All around great.

Absolutely Perfect!

First, I have always been iffy on staying somewhere other than a hotel when we travel. However, we had a large group on this trip so I decided to give this a try. It was perfect from the start. Amy was quick to respond to questions. We get to the property and it was right across the road from Holiday World. We all go inside and start looking around. It was very clean and setup nicely. Great use of space and plenty of room for the 12 of us. I was amazed at her attention to all the little things. Cards and board games, streaming apps, pack and play and high chair for the baby, corn hole boards, nice seasoned wood staged by the fire pit, bathroom and kitchen essentials, on site washer and dryer. Wonderful experience and will 100% stay again when we return to Santa Claus.
