This 2,730 square foot home has 4-bedrooms, with 3 full bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa. This house has everything you need for your Lake Gaston vacation! The private waterfront vacation destination has all the amenities of home - and MORE. A giant screened in porch overlooking the lake can host your dinners and evening cocktail hour. A large downstairs recreation room is great for keepingu the kids occupied in the evenings or on rainy days with ping pong table, Pac Man machine, TV, and many many books, games and puzzles! This property is not baby/toddler proofed in any way, so be cautious with very young children. A ring camera for safety is located at the front door - no other cameras are on this property.

A newly built 1,200 sf boat house is there for your enjoyment. Stay cool in covered areas but also space for prime sun bathing. A large bar on the dock for daytime delights or lunch by the water. Plenty of room for your coolers behind the bar.

Bring your boat! There are two private boat ramps for you to use in Eaton Ferry Estates. You can then dock your water vehicles conveniently at our private boat house while you vacation at Sunset Cove Lake House.

You will love this peaceful cove, but the main lake is just seconds away. Located one cove away from Eaton Ferry Bridge, you can drive to lakefront restaurants or boat right over to enjoy dinner and live music. Food Lion, ABC store, Lake Gaston Coffee, Jenny Cakes at the Lake, Lake Gaston Pizza, Overby Marina, AE Wake Rentals, and much more just minutes away!!

This was a beautiful lakefront house that offered everything we needed and then some! The communication with host was amazing. I always have a million questions to ask before I arrive and she seemed eager to answer all! Very clean and very comfortable beds! So many games for all ages! The little ones really enjoyed corn joke and giant connect four! Thank you Valerie for letting us enjoy your lakefront home. The special personalized sign is very thoughtful add on!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay! The house is well appointed inside and out! We enjoyed the kayaks, stand up paddle board, and floating items. Had it not rained we would have taken full advantage of the fire pit in the evening as well. Inside, the house host thought of everything! Overall, the house was clean and spacious for our group of six adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals and save the leftovers. The extra ice machine was great for filling the boat cooler too! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean- the perfect way to end long days in the water! We loved our time at Sunset Cove Lake House and are excited to rent it again!!

The brief: The host and house are great. The kitchen is well stocked, the rooms are comfortable and the screened in porch is a wonderful gathering place. The dock is amazing with plenty of floats.The long: If you're familiar with the area, food and family activities are limited. The kitchen had everything you need for meals and snacks. The basement is a large open area with ping pong and a Pac-Man as well as a large couch for movie night. The dock and cove are amazing. Great place for morning coffee or evening hangout. The cove is well protected, great for open water swimming and kayaking. The path from the house to the dock is cement but there is a bit of a grade which might be a bit of an challenge for someone with mobility issues. The hosts are great, local and very responsive. Overall a great stay and we hope to be back next year.

We enjoyed our stay; the home was spacious and clean. The screened in porch was our favorite place. We enjoyed dining outdoors. The location was great—the cove was so peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Fall vacation at LKG

We enjoyed our stay, we especially appreciated the new boat dock and close proximity to the main lake. Communication with host was a breeze and the house is well appointed.

Valerie was absolutely delightful. We have stayed in our fair share of homes and hands down this was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. It made cooking for our family that we don’t see often a pleasure. The location was fantastic and Food Lion was just a few minutes away. We walked the neighborhood one morning and the few neighbors we saw were incredibly friendly. The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Stay here, you won’t be sorry that you did. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Nice property / great location

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a quiet cove, and was the ideal size for our family of 8. The owners have recently upgraded the home and the dock / boat slip and sidewalk to the dock are brand new.
