Newly built home less than 2 miles from the New River Gorge!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, newly built home. Located about a mile from downtown Fayetteville and 1.5 miles from the New River Gorge, enjoy all that Fayetteville has to offer from a private, two-bedroom, two-bathroom home. Relax in the shade on the covered front porch, and enjoy the sunshine from the outdoor seating and dining table on the back porch. Use the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill for home cooked meals between your West Virginia adventures.

Please note: The house is located in a quiet residential area on a county road. The road is gravel and is what the county calls an "unimproved" road. A high-clearance vehicle is NOT required to navigate the 150 yards or so of the road—just drive slowly. However, in extreme winter conditions, all-wheel drive can be necessary. If booking in the winter and you do not have AWD, please let us know so we can provide alternatives and insure your trip goes smoothly.

This house was so clean, updated and perfect for our family! The location was great and super close to the bridge and visitor's center, and perfect for our trip to New River Gorge! The check in was super smooth and easy. Extra directions were given and signage was easy to follow to get to the property. Very close to town and easy to get to everything! The place was new, clean, and fully stocked with everything you need. The outdoor patio and deck areas were awesome and the flowers were beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in West Virginia. The home was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It was conveniently located close to all the attractions and activities we wanted to enjoy, making it easy to get around. Despite being close to everything, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is a beautiful house to stay in. The inside is modern, bright and clean. The house is far enough off the road that there's no vehicle noise and the neighbors are very quiet. The front porch rockers are nice and the side patio has a grill, picnic table and chairs to relax in. Good wifi and a comfortable couch and chairs in the living room. Our host was easy to communicate with. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay here and would definitely visit again. This place was perfect for our family of four with two good size bedrooms, two full bathrooms, plenty of storage space, and a fully stocked kitchen. The location was close to everything New River Gorge and close to shopping and restaurants.

Home was super clean and nice. They had everything you need to entertain guests with a great kitchen, grill and plenty of outdoor seating and tables. Location was perfect to all the trails and New River Gorge bridge and park. Trails were spectacular and short drive to restaurants and stores. Highly recommended stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything inside the house is perfect - the design, rooms, beds, etc. The outside is terrific too with a big wraparound porch, comfortable chairs and fire pit. Communication and access was timely and easy. Strongly recommend!

Brand new. Smelled brand new. Place was spotless. Loved sitting out on the covered front porch. So convenient to town and NRG NP. Beds were very comfortable and the house is located off the road which is very quiet. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was by far the cleaniest I have ever stayed at in terms of rentals - this was highly appreciated since myself and my Mom are both clean freaks. Neighborhood was quiet and great location to everything we explored in the area.

I met my husband in Fayetteville thirteen years ago and we love being a part of this special community. My husband is a professional river guide, and I work remotely for Virginia Tech. We spend as much time as possible in West Virginia's rivers, lakes, and mountains, and we'd love to share it all with you! We built Goose Creek Retreat together and just finished construction in February 2023.
