Joel is a great host. The chickens were a great co-host. This property is beautiful. It is very quiet and we had a relaxing time. Highly recommend.

St Augustine Christmas Lights

We stayed here and drove an easy trip over to St. Augustine to view the Christmas lights. Earlier in the day, we watched the Bassmaster Tournament weigh-in at Palatka waterside park. The location was excellent, easy to find and clean. We will be back again!

Clean, but had trouble getting response from owners AND VRBO.

Clean, had trouble with owners responding, liked the neighborhood. Must of had small children as the front gate was closed, felt like we were intruding. My biggest complaint was the response time. We were coming in late due to flight delays and repeatedly asked them to respond as we were not sure which house or how to access.

Fully enjoyed our stay!

Excellent experience! The hosts were very kind and friendly. The inside was beautiful, clean, well-lit and exactly like the pictures. Quiet and serene atmosphere with a very large flat screen TV and many streaming apps to choose from. The bed was super comfortable and the convection oven was definitely a plus. Would 100% stay here again!

Very nice place.

Apartment was very clean and updated. Neighborhood was nice except it must have been located close to a dog pound. There is a choir of dogs barking all through the night.

Quaint

This was a really nicely done up little space, with exceptional climate control and a beautifully fashioned shower and kitchenette area. The bed was cozy, the tv had more options than we could have used in a lifetime, and the different amounts of lighting available were perfect. The amount of outlets/charging ports were great. It's a beautiful little back road that's fantastic for strolls or runs. Overall it was a great place to stay! The rooster could have waited a bit longer to wake us up, but that's to be expected at a farmhouse retreat 😆

Cute barn style loft.

This is a very cute - small loft style flat. This Vrbo fit perfectly for what we needed it for, a small getaway to check out some local properties in the area. It was lacking a couple of things that would have made the stay more enjoyable. My wife and I both thought that there should be a small table and chair set in the unit so that we didn’t have to eat on the bed or sitting on the side of the bed. There is 1 tv tray in the room, but no chairs at all. It also would have been nice to have some real plates, even plastic ones and something aside from disposable plastic silverware. We ordered a pizza and even brought some wine - but we had no way to cut the pizza - or a wine opener. The place has a very small travel iron, but no ironing board. All of these little things would have made our stay a lot more enjoyable. Of visiting, bring your own plates and essentials. Other than that - great stay.
