Romantic Getaway In a Historic Gothic Church

The owners have done a spectacular job of renovating this historic landmark. Being church musicians, we booked the church to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Jane was always a text away if we had any questions from booking to the actual stay. The pictures online are accurate to what you will find in real life. The free popcorn and whiskey were nice touches. Will definitely stay again.

The Best!

What an outstanding place to stay. The listing was exactly as advertised, and the church was so clean and comfortable. Communicating with the owners was very easy through the app. They got back to me quickly. The linens smelled great! Everything was provided. I recommend Hinterland Hall very highly! One of the best experiences I’ve had with any rental property. Can’t wait to come back!

The most unique place to stay in the Berkshires!

Creatively restored and adaptively reused with great style, historic Hinterland Hall is probably the most unique place to stay in the Berkshires—and likely most anywhere! Well appointed and immaculate, every aspect of this property is artful and luxurious, particularly the former choir loft which comprises the main living area. After spending the day exploring nearby attractions such as MASS MoCA, The Clark, and Jacob’s Pillow, we were excited to go back to Hinterland Hall to enjoy the space, including using the projector to watch a movie or just admiring the beautiful architectural elements of the former church. It is all so well done by the hosts, and we hope to return one day soon!

Wonderful place to decompress

Hinterland Hall was the perfect place for my husband and I to decompress after hosting a destination family reunion. The aesthetic is absolutely stunning. The furniture is comfortable, kitchenette is well appointed, and the storage is clever. We enjoyed snacks on the cozy back patio and movies on the projector at night. Super comfy bed and wonderful linens all around. The bathroom is next level! We enjoyed exploring Lanesborough and the other beautiful surrounding towns. On the MUST DO list is visit Red Shirt Farm for fresh produce, locally sourced products and AMAZING breakfast bagels. Our stay was a very relaxing and unique experience that we will never forget.
