Absolutely loved our stay. The house is super cute and so well decorated and set up. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook most of our meals at the house. Loved this house and only wish we could have stayed longer.

The house was ideal for us and would be even better for a family with teens to use the extra room. All the rooms are large. Everything was very clean. The location is great.

Nicely located, well equipped home with a large dining area that we definitely took advantage of. Nice size uncovered patio with a charcoal grill. Full sized washer and dryer.

Great property in central location

There are so many things to do in this area and Alpine is a nice little town that is centrally located to all the national and state parks we visited. The house was perfect for our party of five. Our son and his family enjoyed using the game room off the carport for watching movies in the evening, and my husband and I enjoyed being able to get to sleep earlier without the TV going in the room next door—a definite win/win! We didn’t do any cooking except for breakfast one day, but the kitchen seemed to be adequately equipped. I would suggest any guests planning to cook might want to bring containers, ziplock bags, aluminum foil, and plastic wrap in case you have leftovers. Otherwise the house was well-stocked including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms, and laundry detergent. The beds were comfortable and the house is in a quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

College send off

We had a wonderful place to be together before leaving our son at SR. This home was prepared for a family to come in and cook and get settled in. We loved the large dining table and the comfort of having two living rooms for our older kids to watch their movies. We loved the furnishings and the outdoor patio. We hope this can be our home away from home while we come back and forth from visiting our son.

Perfect for Girls’ Weekend

This house was the perfect home base for a weekend trip to Alpine and such a great environment for relaxing. We felt safe in the area and the house is in a perfect spot for anything you’re doing in the area.

Awesome Location

House was just perfect! Didn’t want to leave. Great location. Easy to navigate around town. Beautiful outdoor seating area and home was warm and inviting.

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay very much. Holly did an outstanding job designing the remodel. The tradesmen did an outstanding job bring the design to completion.

Great for families of any age!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is a great size and there is extra storage for you stuff so the counter is not full of what you bring. The bedrooms are nice and exactly as described/expected. This is would be a great place for young or older children. It is also nice for an all adult group such as my daughters and I. We very much enjoyed the dark skies. One of the best memories of this trip is drinking wine outside on the front enclosed patio and enjoying the stars. As an all female group we felt secure and very much enjoyed our stay.

Great Base Location

We stayed here for a family trip to Big Bend and West Texas. Location was perfect for us. We traveled to Big Bend NP, Marfa, Balmohea and Mt Davis state parks. House fit our family of five well. We have three kids - 17, 17, and 19. The bonus room worked well for one kid. However, it would have been nice if there was at least a half bath in the bonus room. Our son had to walk over to the main house to use the bathroom. Not ideal in the middle of the night. Overall an excellent home.

Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at this super cute home. It was so nice to come back to after hiking in Big Bend all day. The house was stocked with everything we needed. There was even shampoo and body wash. Everything was very clean and decorated so nice. The neighborhood was ver clean and quiet. We will definitely be back. :)
