Privacy Note: From Early-October to late April, Jane and I reside in the upper portion of the cabin with our two little dogs. The lower portion of the cabin, is the vacation rental and is completely separate from the upper level where Jane and I live. During that time we are available on-site for any assistance or inquiries you may have, dining , hiking, fishing spots, etc. For the rest of the year, we are in Montana. Remember, plans can change, especially if fire season gets smoky, we may return sooner than planned. But rest assured, your comfort and privacy are our top priorities. Please Note: The rental unit does not have a conventional oven, but it does have a convection micro wave, griddle and BBQ grill with a side burner. But don't worry the Iron Bride Cafe and Toccoa River Restaurant are just minutes away.. After all you are on vacation.

Cabin on the hill

It was supposed to be a retreat with my son and my nephew and go fishing. My son had to work so my nephew and I tried to fish, but the water was too high so we watch movies and eat food. The living conditions were excellent. It was very enjoyable. I would love to come back with my wife

Blue Ridge mountains

Scott is an excellent host; great accessibility & communication. The accommodations were a quaint, picturesque cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains. A great stay/getaway for those that appreciate the outdoors and postcard views everywhere you turn.

Excellent spot for a quick getaway.

Loved the location and layout of the property. It was just the right size for us three. Even though property owner was out of town Scott was quick with his responses. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quick getaway in the mountains.

Mountain Getaway

If you like the mountains this will be exciting for you. It is REALLY in the mountains. Quiet and relaxing. A 2 lane very winding, up and down road gets you there. If your good at walking or water sports there is lots to do. For older people not so much. Unfortunately the train wasn't running and the playhouse. Wasnt snowing anything at this time. people

Blueridge Ga

The basement apartment was clean and had great amenities. The beds were comfortable and the front porch was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while listening to the birds and river. Its was close to many trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Mid Winter Getaway

We went down south to beat the Michigan winter blues but had bad luck with the weather being colder than expected. However the property and surrounding area made up for that. The rental was clean and inviting and had all the things we needed. Hosts were readily available and friendly It was a perfect location to get to area attractions Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Little Cabin

Great little area, great little cabin. We enjoyed the area so much, relaxed on the hot tub and met a very nice couple that were the Hosts of this little downstairs Bungalow. It fit our needs perfectly. I would recommend planning to eat out , not really space to cook inside, however we like trying the local restaurants hence the part of our stay away planning! I'll give the 5 stars , the cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was wonderful there is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the river, there are trails to go walk and cute little store to buy your drinks and snacks that also doubles as a little restaurant the cabin was so cute and cozy the hot tub was of course our favorite part it’s clean they had things there you might need and forgot it was great I loved it I’m definitely going back soon

Wonderful and cozy weekend escape

This was a perfect place for a cozy weekend retreat — close to easy scenic hikes, not far from downtown Blue Ridge, and there is great breakfast at the cafe just down the hill. It’s obvious how much care was put into making this a great place to stay!

Sweet Hosts

We loved our stayed. The cabin was so clean and the heaters were a must! We used the hot tub when our baby went down for bed and it was clean and nice in the freezing cold. The location was fantastic, we loved the restaurant and general store. We went fishing on the river but didn’t catch anything but the view is stunning.The hosts are incredibly sweet and helpful! They communicated with us whenever we had questions and gave us fishing tips. It was the perfect first family vacation! The only qualm we had was we could hear them moving around upstairs in their cabin! But that was a little thing compared to all the good!

Amazing, Cozy Spot!

My husband & I enjoyed our weekend stay! The place has a cozy cabin feel, & has its own private hot tub which we enjoyed each night! It’s so conveniently located by the river, a little general store/cafe, a cute restaurant and about a 15 minute drive into downtown Blue Ridge!The host is spectacular!!I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little cozy getaway!

Scott was a very welcoming & accommodating host!

Highly recommend this cabin, tucked nicely into a scenic bend on the Toccoa River! Scott really went the extra mile to make sure we were given both comforts & privacy… as well as fishing advice when we needed it! The cabin came equipped with a pre-heated hot tub, fire pit, cornhole boards, ample space to unwind, and other random amenities like internet and There was also tubing, a merchandise/restaurant store nearby, and a dock spot for photos just a short walk from the cabin.

Convenient Amenities: We love that we can easily walk to the Iron Bridge Cafe and general store for breakfast, lunch, or supplies.
Natural Beauty: Just upstream, the Sandy Bottoms recreation area provides excellent fishing access along the river.
Proximity to Blue Ridge: The cabin is only 9 miles away from downtown Blue Ridge.
Outdoor Adventures: Additionally, our cabin is conveniently close to two fantastic trails:
Falls Trail: This scenic trail leads you through lush forests, past cascading waterfalls, and offers breathtaking views.
Swinging Bridge Trail: Experience the thrill of crossing the Toccoa River on the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. The serene surroundings en route to the bridge make it a delightful hike..
