About Christie Dunn

We are a newly married couple that moved to Montana over 10 years ago. We have worked in all aspects of the hospitality business. We are delighted to offer our guest a new cabin in the Glacier National Park area.

Christie Dunn purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Christie Dunn chose Glacier Country

We came to Montana to work & vacation in Glacier National Park for the summer. We fell in love with the area & wanted to live as close to Glacier as we could. We found a small log cabin that we made our own.

What makes this cabin unique

From these beautiful 5 acres, we are always amazed at all the wildlife, from the reclusive moose, black bears, coyotes, deer & wolves. We also have many colorful birds for all those birdwatchers. This location is convenient to the park & town. We also have alot of hiking & boating adventures here too.

WOW this is a Great Place to get away

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is one of four 10 miles north of Columbia Falls and just 10 minutes from Glacier National Park. We used the location as our base. It was just far enough from park to get away from the tourist stuff. Columbia Falls nice friendly town with plenty place to eat. This is a very well run operation the owner operators are on top of every part of you stay. Cabin are immaculately cleaned and well kept. Pictures are accurate. And the price is right we say many motel rooms that were not very nice for more money. If you get a cheap rate somewhere in this area be very cautious.

Excellent place for a quiet getaway.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here as a family for a week over New Years Day. Nice and quiet Cabin. Even with

the 2 ft. of snow it was warm, snow cleaned away and ready for us. We have 4 children under

9 yrs. old and it fit us well. You will find these Cabins in a nice location and a nice place to stay.

Exceptionally Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

My husband, 20 month old and I stayed here over Xmas and were so delighted by these cozy cabins and the solidarity they provide, nestled within the forest. The cabins were very, very clean and the furniture and decor were thoughtfully selected adding to the uniqueness and cozy atmosphere . The cabin functioned perfectly and had everything we needed for amenities. I HIGHLY recommend this place. You can't not love it!

Outstanding, Fun Rental Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I rented a loft cabin. This cabin had all the essentials...well equipped, hot showers, great heater ( I'm from the Deep South), comfortable beds. It also had great extras...bear spray, bikes, fans and super clean cabin. My sister loved sleeping up in the loft. We both really enjoyed our time at The Reclusive Moose and will send any of our friends visiting the area there. Thanks for the wonderful time.

We spent three nights in the Moose cabin and wish it could have been longer. The location is perfect and the cabin is exceptionally clean and has everything that is needed for a delightful stay. The owners were great, very helpful and responsive to our needs. They pay attention to detail and it shows.

Beautiful Location, Exceptional Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful cabin in a fantastic location. You are close to the West Glacier Park Entrance and close to restaurants and shops.

The cabin it self is in a beautiful location in a wooded area. The owners are so nice and welcoming.

This is where I plan to stay when I vista Glacier again.

I can't recommend staying her highly enough.
