We had a great time staying, view was beautiful and whole walk to shoreline was steep it wasn’t too bad going down - rope was a great idea.Wished our stay was longer.

Our stay at Little Blue House was wonderful. The property is beautiful, very clean, and with all the amenities necessary for the perfect weekend getaway. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Nice view of the water from the porch. Enjoyed listening to the owl at night. 30 minute drive to Somerset. Stairs to the second floor are a little steep and open if you have young kids be aware. Screened in porch is nice.

We celebrated Thanksgiving here and it was absolutely perfect a beautiful house a cozy atmosphere a lot of space and room and the dogs love taking walks outside. It was absolutely wonderful!

Loved our stay! Beautiful place. Just wish the lake access was better but due to the rain it was hard to make it down the steep hill.

The Blue House in the Mountains

It was obvious the owners truly wanted their guest to enjoy their stay. The games were a wonderful touch. She only suggestion we would have is the walk to the lake. If railing or something was provided to assist with going down and coming up that would be so helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I apologize about the lake access, I thought that the listing said no lake access as I do not recommend it because of the steepness of the bank. The army core of engineers does not allow us to change the natural landscape of the hillside so as it is it is too steep for me to recommend guests use it.

More outside night lighting for stairs.Fix downstairs bathroom shower.Fix fan in screened porch area. Couldn’t get the TV to work there.Outside deck needed swept and cleaned.Didn’t know how to lockup when checking out.

Thanks for your feedback. What is wrong with the shower and the ceiling fan on the porch? It looks like soneone lost the remote to the outside TV as I couldn't find it either so I have ordered a replacement. You should have just been able to hit the lock button on the door but the lock was dead when I got there so the batteries must have died so you would have just used the key in the outside combo box to lock that was mentioned in your check in message. I do find some guests miss that message so you may have missed it as well. Thanks again.

Lake house

Great stay. I would definitely recommend this house. It is as presented. The driveway is small so no boat parking. There is a ramp about a mile away where we dropped the boats and then drove up. The view is nice.

The Little Blue House is the best getaway ever!

We had an amazing stay at the property. The house was very clean and had tons of amenities! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was stocked with complimentary chips and had fresh flowers out. We loved the sunroom and spent a ton of time out there watching Tv, watching movies, and playing PlayStation. Internet was non-existent the last couple days but we knew from the listing that it was hit or miss and we used our hotspots. Will definitely be traveling here again to stay in the future!
