Sweet cabin

Cabin was well designed, beautifully decorated and maintained. Pictures do not do it justice. I had hoped to be in a more secluded spot, but it was fine. I would stay there again, 100%.

This cabin is in a perfect location for lake access and has a wonderful view. It was very clean and stocked well with the things we needed.

Great place, great view!

Very clean, cozy, and home-like. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space, and a great view of the lake! The neighborhood was quiet and private, and there was plenty of parking. 10/10, will stay again!

More than Expected

Nice, quiet, safe rural neighborhood not far from town. Deck and screened porch gives lots of relaxing options. Would not hesitate to book here again.

Perfect weekend getaway

This was our second time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend trip. We love the proximity to Conley Bottom marina and enjoyed floating in the cove from the nearby boat ramp. The lake views from the deck are fantastic and we especially enjoyed drinking our coffee in the screened porch in the mornings. Would highly recommend!

perfect for 2

This lovely cabin is the perfect spot to come home to after being on the lake all day! Close to CBR, it has a KING size bed - hard to find in rentals - and a full kitchen. The best part is the lovely screened in porch! Clean and easy checkin. I would recommend this to any couple looking to come to lake Cumberland!

Relaxation!!

Such a great place for much needed R & R. The view was as perfect and everything about the cottage was just as described. From the open deck to the screened in porch to the fire pit, we enjoyed it all. If we are back in this area again, we would not hesitate to stay here and will recommend it to friends!

Lovely Getaway

This cabin is absolutely exquisite! It was impeccably clean, quiet, in a great neighborhood and a wonderful view. We loved having coffee in the morning and eating dinner in the evening on the deck.

You will not be disappointed

Wonderful, cozy cabin was perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary trip. We rented a pontoon boat, saw some civil war historical sites, and ate the best brisket in our lives at Dunagan's Store. Everything is within 30 minutes. We found the bed extremely comfortable, and all the amenities were just as listed. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Lake Cabin

Nice property

The cabin is clean and well appointed. The hosts are very nice people. We left a couple days early due to weather concerns. Although we had to travel a bit to attractions the area is very scenic.

Peaceful getaway

Really cute, rustic cabin with nice Lakeview. Very clean & had everything needed for a few days of rest. We LOVED the screened-in porch. Even in hot August temps, we still were able to enjoy the porch & fire pit areas because of the nice ceiling fans. Brian was a good host. Would definitely have given 5 stars rating, but we felt the mattress on the bed really needs replaced.

Beautiful cabin with a view

Myself and my spouse couldn't have been happier finding this nice little gem of a place. This is the perfect spot for two people nicely tucked away in the woods. The place was extremely clean and well kept. The wrap around porch had a nice view of the lake and also had a nice screened in area with a ceiling fan. The friendly owner Brian happen to be on site and was easily accessible. I would recommend this property to anyone. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Fabulous!

No pictures or words can truly do justice to this lovely cabin and its fantastic location. The view of Shinbone Cliff and the lake is magnificent. Maria & Brian are responsive and fantastic to deal with, their care for their guests is obvious from the beginning. This cabin exudes quality, from attention to minute details in design and construction to impeccable cleanliness. A hidden gem!

A very relaxing getaway

I got this getaway as a Christmas gift for my husband & I am so glad I did! We met the owner outside when we pulled in the drive (I think he was cleaning & told us he wouldn’t bother us the rest of our stay which he did not), he was so friendly & we felt at home as soon as we walked in, everything was very clean & cozy, they even left oreos & popcorn under the big screen! It was a great little retreat for us as we have been together 30 yrs & this is only our second time we have went anywhere alone! I hope we can do this again! Thank you both for a beautiful place to let us rest & just be together!!

Lakeside paradise

Small cabin, perfect for a single or couples retreat. Has everything you could ask for and then some. On entering first thing we noticed was the cleanliness. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need to cook a meal. Has an espresso and coffee maker aiding towards a perfect stay whether you get out and enjoy the lake, the close by Civil War battle fields, or just relaxing on the deck. Moving to the biggest gem of the property I felt. The deck wraps around the cabin and is enjoyable all around. The time we spent at the cabin between adventures was primarily on the screened in portion of the back deck. The view was perfect going out to Lake Cumberland was beautiful as well as watching the storms roll in and not getting rained on. Propane grill and fire pit on other side of the cabin adds to the property for a good meal and relaxing fire. The interior was perfect, bed was comfortable as well as the pillows and all the other furniture. Quiet and comfortable definitely not a tourist trap vacation area. Perfect place to rest, relax and recharge. If you enjoy good food we tried and loved, Dunagan's (Antique shop with really good food)for lunch, South Fork Fish Company, Huddle house, and Charred Oak Grill all with a hour drive. Truly a 5 star home and exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back.
