Your first steps into the home will be greeted by a sweeping 8ft tall hand-painted live oak tree. Its flowy moss drapes and sways atop a plush sofa, creating a park bench-like atmosphere. Its branches will ease you into the gallery-style dining room. Soft spotlights glimmer upon the glamorous work of fine artist Amanda Farley, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her critically acclaimed pieces featured in numerous shows are to be embraced alongside a splendid dinner feast. Adjacent from Farley's gorgeous gallery collection are Savannah-inspired cupboard murals. Long stretches of marsh view fine paintings flow through the dining room's decked out coffee bar and into the loaded kitchen. Bring out your inner chef with an entire 16 piece kitchen cookware set, baking supplies, and all the necessities for your creative meal prepping. The historic Montgomery district of Savannah is a community comprised of diverse backgrounds.
It's filled with character, wherein the working class and wealthy coincide. Unlike HOA communities, which are rigidly conformed, your neighborhood's community experiences more freedom in its ability to live, landscape, park, and live however it desires.
Unlike the majority of Savannah, according to mapping resources, the neighborhood is one of Savannah's safest areas. Although some surrounding homes may appear unmaintained, your safety is more maintained here than in the majority of Savannah's areas.

The home:
Just as the neighborhood exudes a historic and diverse atmosphere, the home's authentic 1979 brick build and original windows provide a humble and down-to-Earth experience. Original bathrooms host an experience not of modern and luxurious appeal, but cozy charm. Overall, the area exudes more of a peaceful country ambience as opposed to urban convenience. Its close proximity to Skidaway's islandic life is accentuated with Spanish moss lined roadways accompanied by the Vernon and Moon rivers' faint marshy aroma.

The listing displays a maximum guest count of 8. Just to clarify, this number reflects the maximum number of people allowed on the property - not necessarily the number of mattresses and sheets provided to comfortably sleep 8 guests. This home has enough mattresses and sheets to comfortably sleep 6 guests, but air mattresses are provided as supplementary unconventional sleeping arrangements.

We list guest counts this way on our listings so that guests who are comfortable with unconventional sleeping arrangements—like using a sofa or bringing an air mattress—can still book if the space fits their needs. If we didn’t list it this way, many groups would be excluded from search results even when the home could still work for them.

If the vacationers staying prior to your check-in decide to purchase one of her works, I cannot guarantee that I'll have fresh artwork in right away. However, I'll do my absolute best to provide fresh pieces to replace sold works as soon as I possibly can.

Long length of stays are welcomed and encouraged! A rental agreement will need to be signed for stays over 30 days.

Note: the duplex's adjacent unit, Unit B, may be occupied by the property owner or other short term rental guests during your stay. Your unit is completely private and separate; the only shared space is the yard access. All I ask is that you maintain a respectful noise level for your friendly neighbors.
