I have stayed at a number of cottages in the Milbridge area over the years and I found this one to be superb. The highlight was the fire pit overlooking Back Bay.

This place is a slice of heaven on earth. Every day the view was totally different and always stunning!! I could live here forever. Hope to return next fall or spring. Mike the caretaker was the best!! It doesn't get better than this in Downeast Maine!

Keys to Maine 2024

So relaxing with plenty of hikes nearby. Nothing fancy, just really clean and comfortable. The view and firepit area were awesome!

Peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin and the location on the water. We liked having a fire in the evening.seeing the deer daily was lovely. We would def considers staying there again. Milbridge is our favorite town.

A wonderful view of the water!

A really nicely situated cottage with a perfect view of the water. There is a stone patio with a fire pit, which provides magnificent view of the sunset. We were very happy with our stay, and we plan on returning next year.

Nice, quiet location

Very nice little cabin, on a short, private road about an hour from Bar Harbor. Cabin is pretty much right on the water with fire pit. Very relaxing area. Saw deer in the back yard.

Tranquil

A well-maintained cottage in a lovely area. Downeast Maine is away from main spots, and the cottage is well off the highway and quiet. It's a lovely kayaking spot, though there is no access at low tide.

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your kind words. Yes, the tides in our area of Maine vary a great deal between low and high tide. Luckily there is a new tide approximately every six hours. It is best to kayak around high tide though.

Peaceful

Quiet and beautiful enviroment. Dark was dark, no night light pollution. Cottage was well equipped. Slept great on the beds supplied. Great expierience.

Excellent stay!

The cottage was exactly as advertised. In fact, better than advertised. We frequently use VRBO and this place was by far, the best stocked I've ever been to. Lots of TP and supplies and very nice cookware too! Great location for exploring the whole coast, from Quoddy Head to Acadia. Good places to eat right in Milbridge and a supermarket ten minutes away. Overall a super experience!

Maine

Keys to Maine had a serine environment with beautiful view of the bay. We all enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the sunset. Cabin was well equipped for a comfortable stay. Neighbors were friendly and property manager was very helpful. We definitely choose this again!

Quiet & remote bayside cottage

We had a great week at the cottage with our dog. There's lots of hiking and small towns to explore, and Acadia is about an hour's drive away. The cabin was comfortable for two people, with a fully stocked kitchen. Make sure to bring your drinking water; since the water is from a well, you get sediment. The shower may not be suitable for larger/taller people. Great first impression of Maine!
