About this property
Deer Hollow-tranquil cabin in the woods, minutes from the Toccoa River. Hot Tub!
Come visit Deer Hollow in the Aska Adventure Area of Blue Ridge! The cabin is situated on over an acre of land with 130 ft of frontage on Pigeon Creek, which flows to the Toccoa River less than a mile away. The cabin features an open floor plan, dining area, well-equipped kitchen, and new outdoor hot tub. There are two spacious bedrooms with closets and en-suite bathrooms. One closet has an AC vent and is large enough for a pack and play (which we provide, along with w/ extra sheets) so you can turn it into a mini kids room. There are mountain views in the winter and lush forest views in the summer. You will hear the babbling Pigeon Creek and see the whitetail deer from the rocking chairs on wrap around porch. The cabin offers easy access to hiking, fishing, tubing and kayaking. There are beautiful wineries nearby and gem mining for the kiddos. Downtown Blue Ridge is a 25 minute drive where you can check out the excellent shopping, dinning, or ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. The cabin has a cozy feel that will make you feel like it's your home away from home. There's board games, books and a Smart TV. Put a movie on and spend hours relaxing by the warmth of the fireplace. True to its namesake, the cabin offers amazing opportunities to view deer, turkey and hummingbirds from the porch. A perfect place to sit with a good book, cup of coffee or glass of wine. There are also endless outdoor activities in the area- hiking, tubing, kayaking, zip lining, horse back riding, and boating on Lake Blue Ridge!
We love this cabin, and we're excited to introduce others to this unique area of Blue Ridge. We have extensive recommendations and itineraries for short or longer trips so please don't hesitate to reach out for more info!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, fully stocked with anything you could dream you need, and has a wonderful hot tub. Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend it!!
The cabin was beautiful! If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature this is the place to be. We were able to sit in the porch and watch the deer and turkey each morning and evening. On our last day, we had 8 deer and 4 turkey come by to eat and bid us farewell.

Thanks so much for your stay Dawn. We are so glad you had a great time at Pigeon Creek and got to enjoy our abundant wildlife. Come back anytime!
Good beds, very clean, positive communications with responsive landlord, good location - it met all our requirements for a great stay, and then some. The owner clearly has experience staying in rental cabins, as pretty well everything that is lacking, or that bugs me, from over 30 years of vacationing in other places, has been thought of here. Loved all of the comfy rocking chairs on the big porch and enjoyed watching the deer feed in the evenings, wrapped in the snuggly blankets. This was a good location for our leaf-peeping needs. And a good value, too.
Spacious cabin with all the amenities! Wrap around porch with ample rocking chairs to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the woods and watch the deer and wild turkeys that come feed in the hollow. Short walk to creek with a nearby swing to sit and enjoy the sound of the water rushing over the rocks. Nature's music soothing the soul. The road up to driveway was steep but our truck made it up with no problem. Weber grill and Blackstone Griddle made meals a fun time! Didn't realize how rural it was when booking but so worth it. About a 30min drive to Blue Ridge on winding roads but we mostly stayed at the cabin and took pleasure in our surroundings. If you're looking to escape and just chill, this is the place. Would definitely come back again!
Our family of 6 with kid’s ranging from 5 -17 years old stayed her for our Spring Break. This was perfect for us! The cabin was very clean and stocked with plenty of EVERYTHING we needed plus more (plenty of towels, dishes/utensils, garbage bags, toilet paper, dish soap etc). Games for the kids, blackstone grill for cooking, WIFI (was great as many places in mountains have poor cell service), and open layout of home were also things we loved. The cabin is located near fishing, hiking trails, waterfalls, and several rivers/creeks. Our family enjoyed trout fishing in creek near the National Fish Hatchery, hiking to Benton Falls, Amicolola Falls and the Swinging Bridge. We also explored downtown BlueRidge and went to Swan Drive-In.(I would recommend using the Visit Blue Ridge App as it will list things in area to do along with guest book provided by host) The hosts were very sweet and responsive and checking in and out was super easy. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
