It's a cozy house. The location is perfect, very close to restaurants, shops, museums (on Main st.). The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I recommend it without a doubt, It is amazing!
The perfect home in the perfect location for a weekend getaway! It was two blocks from Main Street making it easy to walk on over to explore and enjoy the town!
Not as pictured, pull out bed broken. Very loud due to no insulation and huge cracks around front and back doors to open air. Patio chairs were falling apart, Pretty disappointed but didn’t let that ruin our weekend even though my daughter had to sleep on couch.
Lovely home. Perfect for 2. Convenient location, only 2 blocks from Main St. Easy Check in/ Access to the home. Quiet neighborhood. Owner response was prompt and helpful.
This place was clean, cute and quaint. Communication with the owner was responsive and fast. The only thing is that I wish I has more time to enjoy the hot tub outside. Will definitely book this place the next time I am in FBG!
Great location; clean, olde timey house with modern upgrades; nice amenities. As of this review in December 2024, the owner very recently renovated the kitchen to be a full kitchen with all appliances (minus a dishwasher) and most basic cookware you'd need if preparing easy meals at home. Very nice kitchen renovation! Good communication with the property manager as well.

Good location, kind of dated,No instructions for lighting outdoor gas fire pit, shower very difficult, if not dangerous to get in and out of.
This property is very well kept and clean. Extremely close to the main street, very much within walking distance. The only major issue was with the wireless network. Its extremely slow and is not fast enough to support the TV's for streaming. I needed to log into my laptop for work and could not accomplish that because of the speed. I would also make some comments in regards to the shower/bath tub. This is a jacuzzi style tub with a shower head above the tub. This worked fine for us, but if guest older than us may have a hard time getting into the tub since its about 2.5 to 3 feet above the floor to step into the tub. Eric was very responsive and allowed us to get into the property an hour early. I would certainly stay again, the location is wonderful.
The house was nice but had a moldy smell. Had to buy a plug in air freshener and lysol to take the smell away. Was getting a headache with the moldy smell. Cob webs and dirty behind dresser. Would have expected a cleaner place to enjoy a nice stay.
Perfect for the two of us for the eclipse. What I appreciated the most is that this property didn’t price gouge. The historic cottage was very quaint, loved the wood floors, tall ceilings and doors. It is a vintage property and there is some road noise but the walking distance to everything made up for any small issues. The bed and couch were comfy, tv’s worked great and climate control was nice. Lots of birds and squirrels out back in the mornings who joined me for coffee. Didn’t use the hot tub but took a look and it was clean and hot. Communication was easy as well.
Tip: When walking to Main Street head out the back of the property and take a right then left. We really enjoyed the coffee at Rockhaus Coffee.
Room was clean and host answered quickly for clarification on my booking Upon arrival.only issue we had was upon arrival. The heater was on so it was very hot in the house and the AC seemed to have had a hard time keeping the house cool. Was very happy to find a fan in the closet!! Luckily, it rained while we were there so it was cooler than expected outside overall great day loved everything!!! Thank you!!
