The Host is not usually onsite unless there for cleaning or maintenance on the adjacent side.

The Mill at River’s End is a quiet, secluded vacation community with privacy fencing, a community dock and Insta-worthy, custom-painted music celebrity wall. We do have residential neighbors next door and politely ask that quiet hours are maintained from 10pm to 7am. No availability for your dates or your looking for more space? Townhome has a private entrance up four steps onto the deck leading into the main floor. There are 19 stairs up to the loft and 18 down to the basement. The basement also has direct access to the yard. Long staircases to go upstairs or downstairs may be a challenge for older guests, use caution with young children on stairs, in loft and around water. There are baby gates at the bottom of both interior staircases.

Driveway, designated parking and access through yard to get to dock are common areas. Dock is shared with neighborhood, kayaks & paddleboard are shared amenities between our two townhomes (#102 & #104). Guests in #102 also have access to lower part of yard for walking dogs, but not the firepit or patio and deck areas.

Outdoor Living: Large deck has two picnic tables with umbrellas, eight padded lounge chairs, propane grill and fire pit, yard is s'mores ready with a large fire pit and benches

General: Free WiFi, sheets/towels, central A/C & Heat, washer/dryer, toiletries, a FEW coffee/dishwasher pods/laundry pods/trash bags to get you started

Community Amenities: dock with two swimming ladders, dock slip for your boat, paddleboard, 2 kayaks, life jackets (please bring your own child jackets to ensure the best fit)

Parking: 6 spaces on far right and far left sides of the house, middle spots in front of the garage are reserved for Unit #102


Most of our guests arrive by car, however this is a small airport in Winchester and pick ups can be arranged. Winchester is a rural town, Uber and taxi service are currently unavailable.

We have a store! Want to check-in early or sleep in on your check-out day, schedule a private yoga session on the deck, have us pick up your groceries and stock the fridge or buy some swag? Once you book, you'll have access to our store and all the things that will free up your time to enjoy the lake and your crew!

*Please note: Our cleaners work very hard to get our rentals guest ready. However, due to past guest indiscretions, there will be extra cleaning/service fees( $50/hr) requested for excessive cleaning issues like hair dye on linens, check-out procedures not followed, unbagged loose trash in outdoor bins, smoking or vaping odors, cornhole boards or other items left outside in the rain, missing, broken or stained houseware items, and late checkout.
