The evening I arrived there was no electricity and the host was impossible to get ahold of. I was in a very dangerous neighborhood at night with nowhere to go. When I finally got in touch with the host two days later he told me he would have the electricity fixed the next day which it wasn't. The electricity was finally fixed three days later, but there was no air conditioning. He did get the air conditioning fixed the next day. He offered to help me with my additional costs because I had to stay in a hotel downtown for 3 days. VRBO paid for the hotel but parking downtown is 60 a night. He left 60 cash on the stove which was an insult after I'd spent almost 200 on parkingI contacted the host before my stay as I am a female staying alone and I wanted to make sure the area was safe. He did not tell me that the area was completely unsafe. I had people follow me into the VRBO. The door to the apartment locked but it's very flimsy. I saw several fights on the street. I was scared to go outside and to leave my car there. The place was very clean and nice for the most part. However, it is definitely not a queen bed. And I don't know how four people would stay there. It is a small bed and one chair in the living room. I had to leave after 9 days and come home for a weekend and I did NOT want to come back to the place when I returned so I asked for a refund so that I could get a different place when I returned to Philly and the host again was impossible to get a hold of.
