About this property

Exclusive private island cabin sleeps 6

The Cabin is remote and accessed by kayaks and row boat that we provide. The property offers street side parking for one car. Owners will meet you to shuttle you over on their pontoon boat and ensure you are settled. ) The refrigerator and stove and gas grill and lights are run on propane. There is a private shower (water heated by propane accessing filtered lake water) on deck with a modern incinerator in house toilet. (see photos) This is perfectly sanitary and odorless. Please note there is no internet or tv. This is an opportunity to have great quiet time with your family or partner. We do have cell phone service and plenty of USB outlets.
Island is ideal for swimming, fishing or simply lounging out on the floating pad. Additionally, you can Enjoy evening campfires around the firepit. There are rechargeable fans in each room should it be hot. French press coffee maker on site. Inside there is a wood stove in the event the nights are chilly. Wood is on premises.

You can easily return to shore with one of the provided kayaks, canoe or the rowboat, or for a dinner off site. It is a short 10-minute row to shore.
Maine fun park is less than 15 minutes away where you and the family can enjoy mini golf, go carts etc. Many area restaurants and shopping within a 15-minute drive. Sleeps 6 people with 2 private bedrooms and a bedroom loft . One full bed and 4 singles. Linens provided Bring towels.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Please be sure sky lights are closed upon departure. Windows can remain open.
Wash, Clean and put away all dishes . Trash should be gathered and separated from the recycle bin is located on the deck. All paper cans and bottles go into the recycle bin.
Make sure you have turned off the gas grill at the tank. All boats, kayaks must be securely placed on shore and flipped upside down. Be sure there is not residual fire douse with water.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
PLEASE do NOT cut any of the brush limbs or trees on this island. IT is protected property and subject to a large fine. wood/kindling is provided
Leave kayaks canoe rowboat flip side so they do not fill with rain water when departing.
Recycle is provided. This includes all paper, tin, glass. All other trash goes into the bin in kitchen. Sanitary products in trash bin

Lakeside paradise

This is a rustic cabin on a private island. Gorgeous views, lots of boats, swimming, nearby hiking and restaurants. I never want to leave. A perfect spot to relax and reenergize close to nature. Lovely hosts. Loons laughing, waves lapping on rocks, plenty of wildlife.

We couldn’t have accidentally fallen in to a more perfect paradise, this really is a private island. We had to go back and forth for a wedding, it was easy- and Ed came out and ‘Ubered’ us in for the wedding. The whole experience was amazing- I have camped- this isn’t camping- it’s very nice. Everything you need in life is there. Bring your food/drinks and good friends and family.

Blueberry island

Absolutely beautiful! Cabin is very lovely. Clean, neat and nicely decorated. Outdoor shower was really enoyable. Outhouse/compostable is super clean and fresh. The island itself is charming with wild blueberries and black huckleberries. Thomas pond water is very clear and wonderful to swim, boat and fish in. We adored it!
