Enjoy this hideaway near Hood Canal. There is just nothing like this serene get away. Beautiful main house with two full kitchens, two master bedrooms and an additional, quaint cabin on the property. Wake up to the mountains looming over the bay from every window in the house. Walk out your bedroom door and sit on the patio with a cup of coffee, searching for morning seals and eagles. Wander down to the beach and fire pit. Enjoy a morning kayak ride or paddle board right from your private beachLook for oysters on the beach to grill on the bar b que and cozy up to a wood fire in the evening right on the landing on the beach. Wander down the road, just half a mile, and view eagles flying and feasting on the beach as the tide goes out at one of the premier eagle watching areas in the nation. This unique location has a large house on the property and an additional cabin to house additional family members and friends.

Rest and relax by the upper deck propane fire. Enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards provided and launch from your private beach. Swim in the bay or walk along the beach for miles when the tide goes out. Relax and rejuvenate at this truly special, private, hide a way. 15 minutes from Silverdale for your shopping and restaurants, 35 minutes from Southworth ferry if coming from Seattle and a 55 minute drive from Tacoma.

Beautiful property with incredible views of the Hood Canal! We saw dolphins and seals every morning. The house was spacious and clean with a very well-stocked kitchen. Access to the water is steep, so be aware of that. The current was strong in the evenings so if you want to paddleboard or kayak, mornings are probably best if you’re not experienced. Communication with Jo, the owner, was easy, friendly and efficient. Wonderful stay for our family of 10!

Absolutely beautiful location

An absolutely gorgeous spot. Stocked kitchen, kayaks, fire pit with supplies. It’s hard to overstate how beautiful Seabeck is and this property had everything you need to enjoy it.

First of all, the view at this house was amazing!! That was the best part of the home. The home was outdated in most of the rooms except for the kitchen area. The biggest complaint would be only being able to run one source of water at a time for 12 people staying in the house! Trying to take showers, use the bathroom, wash clothes, wash your hands, run the dishwasher, etc... one at a time was very inconvenient and had some people taking showers later at night once we would get home from being out all day hiking! This was not mentioned to us when we rented the home. Had I known this, I would not have rented this one. There was also some hair on the trundle bed when we pulled it out to put sheets on it. The deck outside is also made of a material that makes a lot of noise when walking on it. That was a little annoying. We were able to put up with the negatives because we enjoyed the view so much!

This is a beach home and the water usage can be sensitive when large groups are all showering, washing dishes and doing laundry all at the same time. We apologize for your frustration with this issue. We are sorry that other aspects of our home fell short of your expectations. Like many well loved beach homes, ours has a unique and charming character that although not new, we try to maintain that unique coastal and comfortable feel that so many of our guests have come to love. We truly apologize for the hair found on the trundle bed. That is not the level of cleanliness that we strive for and we have contacted the housecleaning team to ensure that does not happen again. The decking is a composite material made to withstand the beach environment, though it can be noisier underfoot than traditional wood. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us to continue to preserve the charm that makes our beachfront retreat a place that families can gather, relax, and make lasting memories.

AMAZING view of Hood Canal and Olympic Mountains from the deck and many of the rooms. We spent as much time as possible soaking in those views. Jo was very flexible and accommodating and even mailed back an item left by accident.

Gorgeous spot, great fun and great views!

This house was great! Two full kitchens, and multiple grills were great for cooking for a crowd. The deck had beautiful views, and there are comfortable spaces all over. This was the prefect house for a weekend getaway with friends.

A great beach house vacation rental

We had an amazing time at this beach vacation rental! The house is right on the beach, offering stunning views. We loved the variety of activities, especially kayaking and playing board games in the evenings. The home was cozy, well-equipped, and provided a perfect setting for relaxation. The communication with host was easy.

It is a spectacular property and we would gladly stay again. It has a main house and a charming cabin; a total of three full kitchens, two full length decks and even old time arcade games. The views of the water are incredible and we did s’mores with the kids. There are two gas grills and everything worked as advertised. A row boat, paddle boards and kayaks were provided. The host was totally responsive and left wine and food for us. Easily the best VRBO we have stayed at in the last ten years.

Fabulous family time

We were 6 adults and 3 kids in Seabeck for a family reunion. The weather was perfect! We enjoyed all the watercraft available and spent nights around the bonfire. We hosted 30 people for lunch and had plenty of space. Pretty much everything about the property was spectacular.

Family Christmas & New Years

Beautiful! Wonderful view. Lots of extra accommodation (Traeger, grill) supplies for s’more’, new kitchen supplies! We brought the chairs up from downstairs for our full house to enjoy meals around the table. We were able to go on an outing everyday. We may come back here again. Saw the whales at Point no point, went to the zoo, hiked in the misty rain in Pacific National Park

big and beautiful beach house on the Hood Canal

Positives: easy to find, easy parking, several kitchens, indoor and outdoor eating areas and seating, nice firepit with wood!, kayaks and paddleboards in good repair, life vest for kids and adults, several grills, kitchen is well stocked, Mr coffee style coffee maker (no filters needed) and Keurig (some pods were already there) FYIs: no railing or fencing between firepit and water, the listing says 3 sets of bunk beds but there is only one set of bunk beds (top is twin and bottom is double bed), the walk to the water is short but watch the elderly and toddlers (a little steep for them), several grills at the main house but no metal spatulas

Top bunk was a twin, over a double bed and a twin trundle under the double bed that pulled out. So sorry you missed the twin trundle bed. A View that Rivals Norwegian Fjords

We were a large group - 8 adults (age range 81 - 37) and 4 children (age range 13 - 1 1/2), gathered to celebrate my 80th birthday. The setting was incomparable, heavenly from morning to night. The breezes kept us cool through the sunny days. Many enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, collecting sea glass and shells when the tide was low. We explored hiking trails, the town of Poulsbo, a local swimming place. We ate all meals at the house. The kitchen was supremely well stocked with every dish or pan we could have desired. There were plenty of towels, bath and beach, for all. Having the separate cottage was so useful for such a large group. Three kitchens ! 5 bathrooms ! We had a great and memorable time. Best birthday ever. Thank you !

Beautiful View

This property has an incredible view! The main house layout is unusual but very comfortable. The back house is a bit musty and the bunk loft is very high up but it is as described. We had a few issues with space heaters cutting basement power in the main house, but an easy switch of circuit breaker resolved this. I wish I had known in advance about beach house/septic water limitations/restrictions. I was nervous about setting off the water alarm the entire vacation, so that was not relaxing. We never set it off, but we also did not take advantage of any of the interesting sunken tubs in the house because of fear of triggering a "water alarm" Otherwise, the house was beautiful, fit our needs and the host was very responsive and welcoming. Seriously amazing view!

So glad you enjoyed the views. We were surprised that you had a fuse issue and so glad we were able to address this immediately and help you fix the problem. It is unfortunate that you were so anxious about the information regarding the water use. As a precaution, we advised you to be mindful of using multiple water sources at the same time. We definitely could have provided you with more assurance and encouraged you to try out the tubs if you would have reached out to us directly for more information as you did when you had an issue when you arrived. We hope you enjoyed the high chair and play pen we provided for you at your request. We are glad you thought the house was comfortable and the views amazing. It truly is a special place

We all loved our special family weekend at this extraordinary property! Kayaking with seals, meals on the beautiful deck, and bonfires by the ocean. The two master suites have floor to ceiling windows, decks, and breath taking views. The owners are thoughtful and attentive. Every detail has been addressed, plenty of beach towels, beach toys, life jackets, fire wood, even plushy stuffed animals of Puget Sound. The property grounds are lovingly cared for, absolutely beautiful landscaping. The trees provide nice privacy, you feel completely immersed in nature. We watched a bald eagle come and go all day. This area of the Hood Canal is really quiet and serene. I am already planning our next trip to stay at this amazing home. Everyone in our group is an adult, but if you are traveling with children they will love the cottage on the property. It is whimsical and sweet. A very magical space, which also has incredible views. I gained some design inspiration from the master bath renovation. Really great design and engineering ideas. Thank you for a wonderful visit! We will be returning. I didn’t want to leave. This home has a special place in my heart.

Perfect for large families

Lovely home, lots of windows overlooking Hood Canal! Eagle, harbor seals, Blue Heron, and Oysters too. Lots to do for all ages, paddle boards, Kayaks, life preservers too 💕, huge upper deck fits everyone and still looks plenty of room. Mall only 15 mins away for teens lol. Owners thought of everything and provided more than we have ever had anywhere else from life preservers to electronics chargers to multiple games indoor and outdoor and even wood for fire pit ! Quick response from property management when accidentally blew breaker ( hair dryer plus 3 electronic games going (Pacman etc) at the same time. One suggestion would be to have curtains or shades on cabin windows and maybe have a few more kitchen utensils, bowls etc in other two kitchens. Did buy a bug trap as none of windows have screens and it was toasty for the PNW (85 degrees but not complaining )

So much space!

So much space, but oddly arranged. It’s hard to get a large group all together in one area. No great room or combined room that allows for more than 8 people to comfortably gather. Big dining room table, but it’s in a skinny room so it’s hard to maneuver around chairs that are pulled out. I think a layout would have helped immensely in my planning. I had a person in a wheelchair and a person with mobility issues and it was very difficult to get them around. It’s hard to tell from the pictures but there is a step on the way into the ‘front’ door. No garage access which might have been a way around the step. Beautiful property though. We kayaked and hung out by the beach (those of us who could get down there). Not too far from civilization and grocery stores.

Very beautiful property with stunning view of the water and Olympic mountains. Kitchens were well equipped and well stocked with spices and necessities. Having kayaks, paddle boards and a row boat made it easy to enjoy the water.

This property was even more beautiful in person! The views were incredible. The house was clean and very well stocked. There were charging ports readily avaliable in every room. Both kitchens had ample cooking supplies and spices. Overall, it was the perfect stay!
