Détendez-vous sur le toit-terrasse et admirez la vue fantastique sur l'océan et les magnifiques couchers de soleil sur Jockey's Ridge depuis cette belle propriété située au cœur de Nags's Head. Profitez de la fabuleuse piscine privée, du bain à remous, du bar couvert et de la cabane de bains! Taille de la piscine 14x24. Après une journée à la plage, faites une partie de billard ou de jeu de palets dans la salle de jeux! Ou si vous préférez, cette maison est proche des restaurants et des magasins de la région! Chaque chambre est une suite privée avec une salle de bain complète!

Deuxième étage "Rocking Chair Porch" avec quatre chaises berçantes. Le porche est couvert par le pont ci-dessus et constitue un endroit agréable pour voir l'océan et les passants. Terrasse extérieure avec deux tables et quatre chaises chacune, une au bord de la piscine et une au bout du podium du deuxième étage. Six chaises longues colorées, cinq près de la piscine et une sur le podium. Quatre chaises Adirondack, trois sur le pont arrière du deuxième étage donnant sur la piscine et une sur la passerelle arrière du dernier étage avec vue sur Jockey's Ridge et les ailes libres. Vaste plancher de bois franc aux deuxième et troisième étages et dans tous les escaliers. L’accès à la plage publique se situe au sud de Small Street et offre un accès facile à la plage et un parking public. L'accès à la plage est de 700 mètres. Milepost 13. 2.

Great Fall Get Away

I would definitely stay again in the fall. However, due to beach access, I am not sure I would stay in the summer when I wanted to go to the beach on a daily basis and hall a bunch of things.

With this particular property, the beach access sits quite a few blocks from the home! During the summer we suggest driving to the local beach access and parking to avoid the long haul. The property is located in an area where you can walk to some restaurants. Beach access wasnt to bad as long as you are able to walk well. They do need to attend to some minor issues with appliances. Skillets stick terribley so you might want to bring 2 if you plan on cooking. But this was a minor thing that did not impact our stay in the least bit. The house is beautiful and we are already in the process of renting next year.

Good time

Very nice trip. Can only complain about tiny ants in mug cupboard. Not bad enough to call realtor. Rooms made all happy. No easy access to beach. Love 2 fridges, 2 dishwasher, 2 laundry rooms. Would recommend. Loved hot tub and pool. Ice makers didn’t work at first but you have to switch on, Duh. Loved all those porches.

The beach access wasn't quite as close as I had thought - it wasn't convenient to lug coolers and umbrellas to the beach, but since we were there later in the season, we didn't have much issue getting a parking spot in the public lot. Great location to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. The house wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but I have heard that is to be expected at the end of the season. Overall a great time, plenty of space for the large group we had.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to celebrate my husband's 50th and to get away over the Christmas holiday. The house was spacious, a little outdated, but overall a great experience. Pros - each bedroom has a bathroom, king beds were very comfortable, 2 refrigerators, hardwood floors in most of the rooms, dog friendly, nice gas grill, and two coffee pots (Keurig and a drip coffee maker)..Cons - not enough silverware for all the guests (had to keep washing forks) and ended up buying plasticware, had to walk a ways to get to the beach access,(my husband has meniscus surgery, which made it very difficult to walk in a knee brace), we would never stay here in the dead of the summer months, even though each bedroom had their own bathroom, some of the bathrooms were very small, volleyball court was just an overgrown sand and grass pit, outdated and saggy couch, and no beach chairs.Overall, it was a great place to stay with the group we had. With that being said, would not rent this house in the summer months, as it would take too long to lug everything to the beach.

Ok Vacation Rental

Reviewer Comments: Pros: This was my first time renting a house in OBX, we were able to get in the house a bit early which was nice. The house was clean and tidy and had all the appliance we would need. The beach access wasn't too far of a drive. Ample driveway space, and trash cans.Cons: However, there was several issues with the house not being well maintained. 1. Description/photos of the pool and hot tube was a bit off in the way they made it look bigger than it was. 2. The Air Intake vent was absolutely disgusting full of dirt and cobwebs, 3. had to call Maintenace for a wobbly celling fan, door lock that was broken and the ground floor had a very bad smell to it. {Maintenace did come next day to fix 2 out of the 3 problems} nothing they could do with basement smell. 4. Outside grill was so dirty we opted not to use it ;( 5. Pool lights were nonfunctional, hot tube cover was broken, several broken screens. Volleyball court grass was not cut. All in all, the rental property was ok, and served its purpose. Not sure I would recommend this property to anyone. Hopefully they will fix and maintain this property better for future guest. Especially for the amount of money one is paying to rent it for a week.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made so many amazing memories but the home itself was dirty, dusty and with sand in the beds! This is not our first rental in OBX but by far the dirtiest! The floors were not washed and the fans caked with dust and cobwebs. I understand many families are in and out of these homes but is totally not acceptable to be that dirty when each family has in a cleaning charge. The kitchen pots were also not clean and counters sticky!

Broken furniture that was not replaced, limited to one set or bath towels for the week, pool lounge chairs stained and digesting, finding dirty wash clothes in pool area, grill was dirty discussing never used. The game room a total disappointment. Pool sticks were broken but couldn’t shoot a game of pool without caution of the windows. Looked bigger in pictures online but so did the place in general. Definitely NOT worth a$12,000.00 for six nights.

One call out is that the public beach access is NOT close even though you can see the beach from the house - you will want to get a golf cart or be prepared to drive to the beach, the closest access is about a half mile away. Overall the property was great and I would recommend it for a large family gathering!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house was great for our multi-generational family! the highlight is the pool area with grilling station, good sized pool and hot tub. Only issue is the distance from beach access but it'a a nice walk for those in shape and the beach access with parking is not far. Lots to see and do in the area and the beach is not too crowded. the balconies were a hit after a day on the beach or a kayak float. the owner responded quickly for the 1 item we called on (smoke detector beeping) and the staff at Beach Realty were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a large group.

Reviewer Comments: The house was not clean upon arrival- our sheets were not delivered, I had to call and request them, playstation did not have any conrollers- we did not get them until wednesday- the pool sticks had no tips- we did not get them until wednesday. the property has a huge ant problem- we ended up buing out own ant spray for the pool area....which caused the ants to move to the kitchen of the home.- it needs a really good cleaning..cupboards inside and out are sticky and had food residue and under furniture was dirty and had lots of food particles.

However, the first day we had trouble locating the beach entrance which was a half mile away. But, thanks to a renter across the street the rest of the week was wonderful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 2nd time staying in this house. Love the house and the location. However, we were disappointed this time to find that the house was not cleaned very well. When we arrived, there was garbage on the upper deck, there were things left under the beds, one bed was broken, and there were ants all over the kitchen counters. The handyman did come quickly to fix the bed and pest control came for the any problem but it persisted throughout our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we enjoyed our vacation, we were slightly dissappointed with the house. There were several things that were broken... The refrigerator on the floor level didn't work and esmelled terrible. One of the dishwashers were broken and it hurt my aunt's foot when she tried to open it. We also couldn't use the gameroom because it was very musty, which was a problem for the guests who were sleeping on that level. While the size of the home and the view of the ocean were nice, there was no convenient beach access which is not well advertised. We will not be renting this property again.
