Upon entering the home, you will immediately appreciate the spacious floor plan. Each bedroom has a private bath, providing the perfect amount of privacy for all guests! Throughout the home, you will find numerous gathering areas including a game room with pool table, family room, large dining space, and other seating areas. The home is equipped with decks on multiple levels, perfect for ocean views, sunbathing, or gathering for a meal.

Located across from the public beach access, your feet will hit the sand in minutes! Enjoy morning and evening strolls, while hearing the waves crash or spend your days basking in the sun. After a long day at the beach, come back to house for endless hours of fun. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, and enjoy the aquatic amenities including a private pool and hot tub, as well as a fenced-in yard, which is perfect for your pets and small children.

"Blue Angel" is in the perfect location in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Close to fine dining, shopping and attractions. Close to Roanoke Island, home to The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, NC Aquarium and Kill Devil Hills, sight of the First Flight and the Wright Brothers Memorial. Also just minutes from Jockey's Ridge. Visitors can climb to the top, fly kites and hang glide from this unforgettable sand dune formed by Mother Nature!

Nice Value For A Kill Devil Getaway

Pros: Great Location; Easy Access to Beach and Area Attractions; Tons of Room; Pool Table for rainy days or gaming at night; Plenty of kitchen room. Great value for the rental rate; Plenty of Balcony Room to enjoy breakfast/coffee while watching the sunrise; Loads of backyard room for the group and pets with a nice pool and hot tub Cons: A bit dated and could use a little TLC; trouble with ants downstairs, but otherwise very nice.

The inside is nicely done there are a few things that definitely could use updating but honestly for the amount of time spent actually in the house it wasn’t a huge deal. The fact that there was 3 fridges alone was AMAZING! Definitely a great price and great house for big families.

She was killed in a car crash in 2019 at 18 years old. We stayed here again this past September. We loved it in 2017 and loved it just as much in 2023. Great location and such a homey atmosphere. We will rent it every year.

Blue Angel was by far the best in the layout, size, multiple kitchens, and family areas.It was close to the beach and had a great size pool. Each bedroom had it own bath, plus half baths in the living areas and a full bath by the pool.Great view of the ocean. Only thing missing was an elevator, but even that proved to not be an issue. To say we loved and enjoyed our stay at Blue Angel would be an understatement. Until next year!!!!A big Thank you to the owners and BEACH REALTY for another great vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at the Blue Angel several times over the years and love this house and location! But PLEASE update the kitchen appliances!! When large groups of people stay in this house, there is a lot of cooking going on. The appliances are broken and outdated!!! The dishwasher is missing parts and doesn’t work right, the refrigerator has broken shelves and needs replaced, the microwave handle is broken, and the stove is awful to cook on. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay!

Great Location - But a tired, dirty house

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a perfect location. However, when we arrived, the house was not cleaned completely. There were crumbs and trash on the floor on the 4th floor, with the vacuum still plugged in and obviously forgotten about. There was a blood stain on the stairway from the bottom floor to the 2nd floor. Beds looked like they had clean sheets on them due to the fresh looking folds, but there was dirt and hair present on the sheets in one of the rooms. There were 3 dressers in 3 different bedrooms that would not close and 1 missing a knob. Maintenance did come out, after the second call, and fixed what they could. 1 bathroom was missing a ceiling exhaust fan cover, ordered but not repaired during the stay. 3 bedrooms had bed skirts with pee stains. 3rd floor patio furniture had mold all over the table and chairs. Multiple plates, utensils and bowls had food left on them. Dishwasher on 3rd floor was not functional due to the bottom tray missing it's front wheels. It turned on, but the tray rests on the element and rendered the machine useless. We had to hand wash everything. 2 toasters, 1 only toasted 1 side of the bread, I'd call that useless. Dishwash on the 1st floor, the main tray is completely rusted. 3rd floor Heat/AC Return was completely covered in dust. No telling when the last cleaning has been for that. 3 of the shower/tub drains were full of hair. They drained but slow and gross. 2 Showers never got hot. In those bathrooms, the sink water temp got hotter than the shower. Outside, a landscape company had trimmed a tree near one of the Property Fence Doors, and then left the cuttings in front of it. It had to have been weeks ago because the trimmings were brown, and the cuts on the tree were dry and no sap was present. Just lazy.Summary. Location was perfect. I would not stay there again.

All bedrooms being primary bedrooms with their own bathrooms is HUGE! The side yard is perfect for yard games and being the party back from the beach to the house. We love it and booked the same week next year. Our only draw back is there is no longer an ice machine which is disappointing. It’s still listed as having one. None of the refrigerators produce ice properly so be prepared to buy ice on the regularly for coolers.

Great location for beach access. We were together yet not crowded. Movies upstairs. Pool downstairs.Pool outside. Yard big enough for outdoor games. Food on middle level. Three refrigerators. Grill by pool. Etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience. The house is amazing and has a lot of space. Some of the sofas and furniture are a bit old and torn but if you are there to just have a good time you should not mind that. The company also did an amazing good leaving everything clean. The only thing we had a problem with is, because it is a big company that has many properties most of the information was copied and pasted and none of the specific information for our property was given and when we asked for it they said that we should have had it when I texted them several photos of the missing info for the wifi password as well as the checkout code. But apart from that we had a great experience and loved the property. So close to the beach too, 1 minute walk.
