About this property

Oceanfront vacationing with Crown Point Community pool (Memorial Day-Labor Day) and tennis, as well as panoramic views from the sunken living room and adjacent sitting area, one can see shore line from the north near Whalehead, to Ocean Sands to the south. Spacious decking allows for both morning and afternoon sunning. There's also a skytop deck with ocean-to-sound views, perfect for day gazing or star searching at night. The large hot tub spa even has an ocean view.

The 4 Master Suites are comfortable and private. A large, open, well equipped kitchen and eating bar adjoin the dining area which seats 12-14. The screened porch off the kitchen is nice for evening chats.

On the ground level there is a game and TV play room with full size slate pool table, separate refrigerator, and microwave to help with snacks. 65" Smart TV. Outside, there's a grill, basketball hoop, outdoor showers, and fish cleaning area.

It's a short walk to pool and tennis. Groceries, movies and shops as well as the new golf course are conveniently nearby. Only 20 Yards to beach access.

A Mixed Review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for a house with great views of the beach, this may be your house. If you are looking for easy access to the beach, it may not be what you want. The photos of the house show an unobstructed path from the house to the beach; this was a primary reason I picked this house. Upon arrival we discovered a fence blocking the path, which meant access to the beach was via 67 steep stairs several houses away. My hope was to get up early and spend time on the beach with my 2-year-old granddaughter, but there was no way I could carry her up and down all those stairs. Shlepping the shade tents, chairs, and coolers down to the beach would have been a huge obstacle if we didn't have our kids to carry things for us. This changed the vibe of the whole trip and made trips to the beach more taxing than relaxing. We enjoyed the roof top deck at night, the kitchen was good, and the large table appreciated.

Our Wonderful Week at the Beach

Our family enjoyed a fabulous week at Sandscape. Beautiful beach house with incredible views of the ocean, sunrise & sunsets. Lots to do in Corolla area, and the BEACH!! The house had lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, even a canopy to set up on the beach for some shade. We did have trouble with the dishwasher, but coaxed it along each day, hopefully got fixed for next guests.
