Experience the beauty of Missouri in the warmer months at Roaring River Hills Campground and Cabins, just three miles from Roaring River State Park. Wake up to golden sunrises, explore lush trails, and spend lazy afternoons fishing or wading in cool streams. As evening falls, gather around the firepit for starlit storytelling and roasted s’mores. Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, our glamping tents provide the perfect outdoor retreat.
Tucked away in a more secluded area of the property, Glamping tent #1, ideal for couples, is one of our 5 larger glamping units that offer a peaceful off-grid retreat surrounded by trees, and the occasional visit from deer at sunrise. This tent is fully off-grid with no electricity and no AC in the tent itself - you'll find comfort in the simplicity instead, like four comfortable twin beds with a plush bed pad.
Mornings start slow here: coffee in hand from our nearby general store, seated in Adirondack chairs on your covered deck as birdsong and soft mountain light ease you into the day. After hiking or exploring Roaring River State Park, return to your private firepit for a meal under the stars and a night of true stillness.
What’s Included:
Four comfortable twin beds with a plush bed pad (linens provided) Large covered deck with Adirondack chairs Access to the onsite general store (coffee, muffins, snacks, slushies & more) Clean, shared bathhouse with hot showers (apprx. 150 yards from your tent) Firepit with grate - perfect for campfire meals (bring your own cookware!)
