House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
Comfortable, freshly remodeled adorable Morro Bay house. Relax in the living room with a warm, inviting fireplace with a glass of wine from a local winery after a day of strolling along the Morro Bay Embarcadero. Or, barbeque fresh fish caught that very day and enjoy your dinner on the deck surrounded by the lovely gardens. The house is decorated tastefully with clean lines throughout. The master bedroom is soothing and inviting, decorated in shades of sage, featuring a queen sized bed complete with an electric mattress warmer (perfect for the chilly evenings) with dual controls for each side. French doors lead out from the master bedroom to the deck and garden. The guest bedroom features twin sized beds with nostalgic chenille bedspreads, and the beds can be pushed together to form a larger bed for couples. The house is truly a peaceful retreat; one can feel all the tensions melt away when the fire is lit, and the candles are glowing. Morro Bay is a wonderful place to just unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery - Morro Rock, Hearst Castle, the charm of Cambria, local wineries, and the Central California Coast landscape complete with wildflowers. For pet owners, there are plenty of pet-friendly outdoor eateries, as well as dog parks, and a wonderful dog beach. If you enjoy the sports of cycling, fishing, sailing, and definitely surfing, this is the place for you.

Mike is in the entertainment industry and Diane is a retired ballerina. We love to travel, especially Italy and we have two Old English Sheepdogs that go everywhere with us. We also love to swing dance and love big band music from the 1940's. Parliamo l'italiano!

Why Owner chose Morro Bay
After visiting Morro Bay on our honeymoon we fell in love with the area. This is where we can go with our dogs (they love it!), and relax and just unwind.
What makes this House unique
One of our favorite things is to go and have a wonderful breakfast at Frankie & Lola's Cafe on the Embarcadero - we bring the dogs, and their fried-green tomato eggs benedict is delicious! Afterwards, we walk along the Embarcadero with the dogs and enjoy watching the sea otters and their antics in the bay. The house is a short drive to the Embarcadero (5 minutes) or we'll take the dogs to the fabulous dog beach.

Wonderful cottage by the sea!
What a lovely, well maintained, comfortably furnished cottage for my husband and I, and our dog :) The small garden is so lovely and we actually could hear the seals late at night from the marina! The stars are super, too. Quiet area and close to the stores/restaurants and dog beach---all of which we enjoyed.
The cottage is supplied with everything we needed to cook when we wanted and very comfortable beds with a nice warming pad---the nights do get chilly--that's what made the gas fireplace a nice feature too.
Very thoughtful proprietors--Diane was super to communicate with--very response and helpful. Easy to book/take care of all paperwork and payments ahead of our visit--and it's nice that there's a lock box right there, so no having to stop anywhere else prior to arriving.
We will definitely revisit this property again!

Excellent value, quiet, well located. We walked about two hours to Morro Rock and Morro Bay Village. It is about an 8-minute drive to the Village in Morro Bay.
The cottage was in a quite neighborhood east of the 101 freeway. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary pantry items, which was nice. It was comfortable and worked for our party of four. The only downside is, it is not close to downtown, but freeway access is easy. The yard is adorable and it was nice sitting outside. We brought our dog, which was great, especially since most VRBO rentals are not pet friendly.
Loved Morro Bay!
My friend and I had a very enjoyable, although too short, stay in this cute cottage in Morro Bay. The location was great. It was close to the beach and sites in the area. The amenities in the house were fine, everything we needed was available. It was a bonus that this is a dog friendly location! We spent the days exploring the area and relaxed in this comfortable house in the evenings. If I return to Morro Bay, I'd certainly enjoy a repeat visit here!
Nice, clean and cozy home. I would highly recommend this place!!
Thank you so much! Look forward to your return.
Cean comfortable and convenient.
We would love to stay here again. So nice to have a home to relax in instead of a hotel room. Great that it is dog friendly!
Thank you so much!
