A Wonderful Stay

The unit was both comfortable and convenient to all aspects of the resort! We were a family of 6 adults and 3 children. The lazy river was so much fun! We enjoyed fishing and paddle boarding on the bay side, and the beach was an easy 10-15 minute walk from the unit to the sand. The location of the resort feels central to all of the fun things in Okaloosa Island, with the boardwalk being across the street and a couple units over, pontoon boat rentals right next door to the building, and plenty of restaurants! We would love to stay here again!

House was exactly as pictured, very clean and up to date. Check in, elevator, and parking was easy and fast. Kids loved the pool and lazy river. We could easily walk out the back door to swim. Walking to beach was quick, took approximately 10 min. Restaurants and pontoon rentals were within walking distance. I would definitely come back again.

This was a girls trip with my adult children plus one grandbaby. We had a very enjoyable week. The unit was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. We had what we needed for cooking and plenty of seating. It was nice having the wagon and beach chairs to lug everything to the beach and the beach access was easy. We enjoyed being able to walk right out to the lazy river and spent some time in the private hot tub as well. I would definitely recommend this unit. We enjoyed the Gulfarium and ate at Angler’s.

The condo was enjoyable and could use a deep clean. We’ve been going to Destin west for over 15 years and have finally made the decision to go to another beach area. Very sad to see that the staff is more concerned about keeping pool balls out of the pool but say nothing to those smoking cigarettes at the pool and there is always a thick smell of marijuana. Unfortunately, we’ll be making our memories at a different beach from now on.

Great Location for attending the Reds game! Clean rooms with two bottle waters and fridge made in extra convenient after a jog through the park located across the hotel! I will stay here again!! Parking garage is foot step away!

This place is perfect. I love the skybridge so you don’t have to worry about crossing a busy highway or trying to find parking at a public beach. The hot tub is great. You can walk straight from the patio and a few steps to the pool and lazy river. We will definitely be coming back to Destin West. Also, the hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Amazing getaway with a hot tub!!

We loved coming back from the beach every day and having access to an amazing home with the most perfect hot tub! 10/10 highly recommend staying here and will absolutely stay again!

Fantastic!

The condo was clean, stocked, and so cozy! The resort is literally everything a family with school aged children could ask for. The boys fished off the bay and the girls had pool day/beach day !

Great stay!

We had a fantastic stay in Destin and also at Destin West. The property was clean and well equipped for our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stsy

Yearly Family Vacation

This was the first time we stayed on a lower level in the 10 years we have been coming there. We all really enjoyed the hot tub and the easy in and out to the pool and dock.

The Best

Loved the whole thing, I also loved that the maintenance guy came by twice to make sure that the grill and hot tub with taken care of. I loved all of the little extras that made it an easy stay.

Fantastic stay

This was probably the best vacation I've had stateside. The condo was EXACTLY as it looks in the picture. It is was clean and ready for us when we got there. The accommodations were perfect for my family. We definitely plan on being back.

Perfect Family Trip

This was the perfect location for our family. You could walk off the patio right to the pool and lazy river. You do have to walk over the pedestrian bridge across the road to the beach. It is about a 10 minute walk but not bad with wagons! The beach was nice and calm, not to crowded. We would go back for sure!
