We had the opportunity to stay at this lakeside oasis over the last weekend and would honestly give it 5 stars if we could. Not only was the home beautiful and well appointed, but Dr. Jay was one of the most gracious and communicative hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The location was ideal with one of a kind lake views, a stunning pool, and plenty of outdoor space to relax and take it all in. If you are looking for your next lakeside escape, look no further than this property!

The property was perfect for a family vacation. So many great amenities. Infinity pool, hot tub, comfortable, well stocked right on the lake and incredible house. Communication with property owner was key. Made everything so easy. Can not say enough. Great vacation!!

Beautiful home

The property was in a beautiful area and right on the lake. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub and also cooking out. All of the beds were very comfortable and we were treated like special guests in their home.

Dr. Jay is an amazing host! Incredibly helpful in planning before getting to Austin and overly communicative/helpful during our stay which was such an added benefit. The house itself is great for a big group and has an amazing backyard, pool, and lake access. It’s 2 doors down from ski shores which is an amazing lake side eatery that people travel from all around Austin to visit. 10/10 would stay again!

Location. Location. Location.

This central Lake Austin location was perfect for us. A few doors down from the epic Ski Shores Cafe was so convenient to the best nachos and burgers in town. The pool looked like it flowed right into the lake. We enjoyed it everyday. Along with wake surfing and jet skiing right off the back of the house. Dr. Jay is the best host ever. Thanks for a great trip.

Perfect Spot for a Perfect Weekend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is located on a picturesque part of Lake Austin - near of fun little “cafe” and a really pretty hiking trail (Turkey Creek). Dr. Jay, our host, was welcoming, helpful, and committed to making our stay everything we wanted it to be! We were in for our son’s wedding, and the house provided the perfect backdrop for our small welcome dinner. Hoping for an excuse to go back!

Fun Family Vacation

I rented the lake house with my husband, parents, siblings, and niece/nephew, and it was so fun for all ages. We used a boat rental for several days, and they picked us up from the dock right outside, which was so convenient. The house is located nextdoor to Ski Shores, a classic, waterfront Austin restaurant that is perfect for quick meals or fun drinks - and they even have a pickleball court! Dr Jay was INCREDIBLY responsive before and during our stay. The pool and yard are incredibly shady, which was great for the little kids but not great for getting tan. Overall, it was nice house and stay but it is his primary residence so there are a lot of knick-knacks, photos, etc. throughout the house and lots of drawers, cabinets and doors marked as off limits and cameras throughout the exterior.

Great guests. As mentioned this is our main residence. There are select drawers and closets that are closed as they hold our private things. However there is plenty of closet and drawer space for guests to use. The back yard has large trees which private shade from the sun however anytime you want to ran there is a large backyard and decks over the boat dock that provide direct sun light. We enjoyed these guests. They are welcome back any time.

Amazing House... Fantastic Owner Communication... Breathtaking Views

We absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this house and our 3 night stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and communication with the owner is A++! We will definitely stay here again next summer with our 5 little boys who thoroughly enjoyed this family vacation.
