About this property

Harlan County Lake - Quiet, Cozy Cabin Space

New, quiet & cozy one bedroom/one bath cabin near the north shore of Harlan County Reservoir between Hunter and Methodist Coves.

Perfect for 2 people who want to fish, hunt or play on the water during the day and have a peaceful, private area to retreat to in the evening. Ideal for the fishing tournament team, with exterior electricity availability.

Cabin accommodates 2 guests very comfortably, with a queen sofa sleeper for up to 4 guests.

Public access to the lake's north shore is within walking distance for bank fishing, bird watching, kayaking, etc. (when dry conditions are favorable).

Bedroom has queen bed, dresser and full closet.

Open high-ceiling kitchen/living room has queen sofa sleeper, swivel rocker, smart TV (with Dish satellite), and a small dining table with four stools.

Bathroom has sink, toilet and shower.

Bed linens, kitchen and bathroom towels are furnished.

Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to eat-in, along with full-sized refrigerator, 24” range/oven, small microwave, coffeepot and other small appliances (crockpot, blender, toaster, electric skillet, etc.).

If you choose to go out, there are many restaurant/bar options in nearby Republican City and Alma.

There is an air-conditioner/heating unit in kitchen/living room that comfortably cools/heats the cabin, ceiling fans in kitchen/living room and bedroom, and a ventilation fan in bathroom.

Large backyard has covered concrete patio, gas grill and a table with four chairs.

Water is provided by a domestic well. If you prefer, you may bring bottled water for drinking and/or cooking.

Cabin unit is 350 sf, located on the back side of our boat storage building and has a private, secured entry. Owners keep items of personal property in the storage area of the building and may occasionally be on the front side of the property.

The primary renter must be 25 years of age or older.

Children/minors aged 17 or younger may not be left unattended at the cabin.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights
Prior to check-out, please wash and dry all kitchen cooking utensils, dishes, etc. and return them to their respective cabinets and drawers. Please collect and place all used towels in the shower.
Please remove and dispose of trash and any refrigerated/frozen items in the outside garbage can that is provided on the north side of the property prior to leaving the cabin.
Please leave the keys on the kitchen table. If you leave prior to your scheduled check-out time, please let us know either by text or messaging through the platform so we may secure the premises.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Deb and Dave are the ultimate 'away from home' hosts. We have stayed at two of their properties now and they are extremely clean and comfortable. This was a great little cabin for our long weekend at the lake! Super clean, well-appointed, and everything was as advertised. We liked being a short distance from Republican City, Alma, the dam, and Patterson Harbor. Deb even advised about lake conditions and boating. She manages so well without interfering and she and Dave have really taken time to decorate and provide the perfect lake retreat! We loved staying here!
