Enjoy all that June Lake has to offer in this updated cabin conveniently located in the village of June Lake, California. This home offers easy access to both June and Gull Lake marinas, the local brewery, and all the shopping, dining, and entertainment options in town.

Featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this cabin comes with a fully fenced-in yard and partial mountain views from various rooms. The open kitchen and living room concept make it perfect for socializing and relaxation. You'll find a large flat-screen TV, a wood-burning fireplace, and a washer/dryer for added convenience.

The outdoor space includes a comfortable back deck with a BBQ and outdoor seating, providing a great area for your dog(s) to play or for you to simply enjoy the beautiful mountain air. There's also ample space for parking your boat or outdoor toys. Please note, if it is a big snow year, outside fencing may be buried.

The master bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom featuring a newly redone shower, a flat-screen TV, and a Queen bed. The guest room also offers a Queen-size bed, and the second bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway. Additionally, there's a large walk-in closet in the entryway, perfect for storing your summer accessories, winter gear, or any overflow storage needs.

Summer stay in June Lake

Property was as described on VRBO. Perfect location, easy walk to all restaurants & both June & Gull lakes. Property managers were very communicative & responsive - top notch! Really the only complaints were: (1) it could have been a little more tidy/cleaned outside in the BBQ area. (2) there ended up being active mice in the house. It happens for sure, but a "mice have been overly active this summer" notification would have helped with expectations going in.Would def stay here again!

2nd time at this property!

We have stayed at this property twice in the last 5 months. My husband and I come to the mountains to hike with our dogs and this property is perfect for us. As I have reviewed previously, great location in June Lake (walking distance to general store, restaurants and shops), comfortable bed, large shower, and fenced yard for our two dogs. The tv has been replaced since my last review.. thank you! We will be back again.

June Lake Village

Home was clean & close to everything in town. Had enough cooking supplies to get by. Keyless lock was nice. There are no official doors on the bedrooms, one has a sliding wood door and the other bedroom has a curtain. This was not a problem for us tho, since we were all going to bed and getting up together. We enjoyed ourselves in June Lake!

Great location

Perfect location for a ski trip. Easy walk to restaurants and bars. Quick drive to the mountain. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Great place to chill and watch Tv at night. Central heating didn’t seem to work. There were space heaters in each room when we arrived. Wish there had been some kind of explanation regarding that as we were a little afraid to leave the house with them on due to fire danger. Great place to stay and we would book it again.

June Lake family getaway

The location was great in that we could walk into town or to June or Gull lakes easily. It was quaint, but needs some improvement. We liked the big kitchen and gathering area with a relaxing love seat recliner, but the chairs in the living room were very uncomfortable. We found ourselves on the floor and /or alternating turns for the recliners. The TV screen had vertical lines running through it. The bathroom size was sufficient and the shower size was excellent. Small bedroom size. The beds were very comfortable ( firm memory foam). Nice back deck and yard for our bbq’s. Adequate yard space for our dog. 🐶

Mountain getaway with our dogs

We just spent 4 nights at the Mountain Getaway. Like the title says, this property is pet-friendly! From the magic mesh on the slider to the fenced property to the large living area (where we set up dog crates) it was an easy acclimation to the home for our 2 dogs. The house itself is very quirky and unique… but we loved it. The showers are spacious, the beds are comfortable. We cooked most of our meals at the house; it was really nice to have the traeger available for use! The outdoor patio has a large umbrella so you can lounge outdoors comfortably while your pups sun bathe. The location is perfect… only a short walk to everywhere in June Lake! I do have to mention the TV is in need of replacement; but that was not a huge deal for us. And be sure to bring everything you need for cooking, there is very little pantry items available. The general store is only a short walk up the street though! We (and our dogs) had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!
