Sweet Serenity in Bemus Point

This beautiful one bedroom-one bathroom apartment is less than 1/2 mile to the heart of Bemus Point! It has beautiful engineered hard wood floors with radiant heat and cathedral ceilings for an open concept space that is very comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, yet very close to all that Bemus Point and Chautauqua Lake have to offer in the summer or on the snowmobile trail and close to ski resorts in the winter, you have found where you want to be. The major appliances were new in summer 2021 and several other small appliances include coffee maker, toaster, blender, food processor and even a KitchenAid mixer. There is a man's and woman's bike available, if you let us know you would like to use them.

No smoking, pets or parties on the property. Violation of these house rules means guests must leave and no refund will be given.

This was a very nice place to stay. It is within walking distance to the heart of the town & lake. The apartment was very clean and set up perfect for the 2 of us. We will hopefully be back !

We had a fabulous time at Sweet Serenity for the 2 days that we were there!!! The accomodations were beautiful, very homey, and easy to find. Bemus Point is very quaint and perfect to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. It was also very convenient to Jamestown, as we visited the Lucy Desi Museum and the National Comedy Center. Thanks for a wonderful time!!!!

In town for family reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy retreat & what great hosts we had! Our host Kelly had homemade cookies for us when we got there & even baked me extra to take to the family reunion I was attending because she knew I was traveling from out of state. I would definitely stay here again if in the area of Bemus Point.

Great choice!

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Centrally located for exploring the area by car. Hosts were kind and responsive.

Thank you, Peter. We recently purchased a convertible sofa so there will be space for 2 more people. Unfortunately, we had to refuse it when it was delivered, but we will have a convertible sofa within the next couple of months at the most. The place is lovely, as are the hosts. The space is immaculate, and nicely appointed. The hosts have stocked it with 85% of the “stuff to bring just in case” - blankets, pillows, anything cooking- and coffee-related, even a couple of bikes. It’s not on the water, but is very centrally located. You can walk to “downtown” Bemus in 7-8 minutes (or drive in one), where there are a number of excellent restaurants and shops. I would mention any negatives, but I really can’t think of any. Great place. Highly recommended.

Beautiful rental

We had an amazing stay in our rental. The interior was clean and comfortable. The layout and amenities were even better than described. The location is walkable to the main drag, Bemus Point Inn, and the gas station. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the apartment is considering how close to the road and town were were. We were looking for peace and quiet and found it! By the way, the cookies were fabulous!

Great little place

Loved this little unit. It was just like the description. Very comfortable. Good location. Even had bikes to use. Very well stocked kitchen with everything you need. The table and two chairs outside the door were a nice addition on a cool evening. Very comfortable.

Sweet Serenity.

My husband and I, both retired, spent a week in the area, much of the time at Chautauqua Institute. The apartment was perfect for us, accommodation, accessibility and location-wise. It was a convenient 10 minute drive to the Institute, an easy walk to center of Bemus Point, a lovely small town, right on Lake Chautauqua. The accommodation was very clean, well supplied and comfortable. We would highly recommend it. The

Cozy apartment

We were welcomed to a very cozy apartment with a plate of fresh delicious cookies! The rental was super clean and had everything you could possibly need. We've never had a rental that had so many kitchen supplies available. The owners kept in touch and even invited us to sit on the deck with them -- which we did and had a very nice visit. We highly recommend this rental property. You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyable Stay at Sweet Serenity

Before this vacation, except for Chautauqua Institution. we knew very little about Chautauqua Lake area, We choose Bemus Point by chance. It was fortunate. Bemus Point is a very cute little town with a lot to offer. We loved the village with its several restaurants, a very good ice cream shop, a nice promenade along Lakeside Drive. Regarding the apartment, just as Kelly described, the place was brand new, it has just been renovated. It was immaculate and fully equipped with everything one can think of. We even had bicycles available to us. There is a nice furnished deck, where we enjoyed out morning coffee. We liked the location too. It is about 10 minutes nice walk to the village center. We liked that at the end of the day we could get to a quiet place away from the center. The entire area around the lake has a lot to offer. There are numerous wineries a short drive away. We highly recommend Sweet Serenity in Bemus Point!
