It was very nice.Very clean. Lots of kitchen and dining/living room space. Beautiful views of lake. Pet friendly, and large living spaces meant they had room to move around and play. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows, and kitchen was very accommodating- coffee maker with coffee in cupboard, etc. We would definitely stay again!

Lake chataqua getaway

Home was great. Clean and well stocked. The deck facing the lake provided for an amazing view of the lake and tremendous sunsets. We'd stay again

Decent place to stay, need help with cleaning. Especially the back deck which was covered in cobwebs, bugs, and debris. We also found some clothing bunched up and left from previous guests. The location is great. The view and the sunsets were beautiful and could be enjoyed out the double doors.

Stay was amazing. Owner was very responsive. Clear rooms. Amazing view. Fantastic water pressure. Good kitchen utilities. Lots of room. Good food suggestions. Only real challenge was finding the key to get in. Took us a bit to realize where it was having gotten there at night. Thankfully it wasn’t raining and not winter with snow or it would have been a real challenge.

Beautiful Stay

This house was comfortable and gorgeous! Our kids and dogs loved seeing the birds and even a beaver off the dock. The fire pit right on the water hit the spot on a beautiful evening. There were toys for the kids and extra supplies for everyone. It’s literally right around the corner from Lucille Ball’s childhood home as well. Fantastic location! Fantastic hosts! Gorgeous house!

Amazing sunsets

The property is very nicely appointed and is in a very central location. The sunsets were breathtaking and we loved the fact that we could bring our dogs. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to the park every day. My son enjoyed fishing, it was fun for everyone. We would come again.

This was my 1st time to Lake Chautauqua and Rachel's cottage was such a great welcome for us to the area! It was exactly as listed and is fully stocked with all of the essentials, including bug spray which I didn't even think to bring. Super clean and comfortable. I traveled with my older parents and goldendoodle and everyone was very comfortable in the house. The back deck and view is what sold me on this property and even though it was gray and cloudy while we were there, the view was still amazing and the perfect place to drink coffee! My doodle loved the back yard to roam around and it was a great walk and back for her to the Lucille Ball park. My mom does have some mobility issues and was not able to go up the stairs into the kitchen, but she entered through the back deck just fine. Rachel also called spectrum for us the 1st night when the wifi was down and was very helpful and accessible. Thanks so much for such a wonderful time at your lake cottage!

We had a wonderful stay here. Check in was easy and exactly as described in our communications. Rachel was extremely helpful and responsive when we had one small question upon arrival. The sunsets were stunning, location could not have been better. Close to restaurants, a dog park, grocery stores and a few other attractions that drew us to the area: Panama Rocks and Southern Tier Brewery. This part of the lake outside the property was pretty shallow and had a lot of vegetation. This was great for us because there was a lot of wildlife hanging out in the shallows to watch with our spotting scope. A few highlights were bald eagles, great blue herons, mallards, geese, gulls, belted kingfisher and more.The house was adorable and suited our needs perfectly. There were four of us and the (only) one bathroom was not an issue. The only negative I would say would be the lighting in the living room and dining room were not great (just two floor laps). However, the kitchen lighting was perfect and helped light up the dining room a bit when we had dinner. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the pans were in good condition! A happy surprise :) Hot tip: the cushions for the chairs on the back deck were inside the garage. We finally realized this as we were packing up to leave, whoops! Haha. Would definitely stay here again.
