Thank you! Come again and do the other half of the trail. Hope all is well. You are welcome anytime!
I can't say enough about how awesome our stay was. This was easily one of the best locations that we've ever been to on this app and I highly recommend them.
Such a great spot. Trolley stop was so close. Quiet area. The hosts were very friendly (we were greeted with homemade rhubarb cake!). Highly recommend this house. You will love the Black Hills.
We had a wonderful stay! The property was very clean, comfortable, and full of character. We especially loved the delicious rhubarb cake the host left for us—it was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch.Learning the history of the space and discovering that it was once the family’s gun shop was a nice historical bonus. It added a unique charm to our stay and made the experience even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Burlington Bunkhouse in mid-May 2026. Entire property was very clean and as was described in the listing. Furniture and bed were comfortable and my wife and I had relaxing time in the home when not out on nearby adventures. Location was excellent and we quickly found our way around town and back. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Jay and Pam were terrific hosts, quick to respond to messages and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend a booking a stay at this property to anyone planning to be in area.
We got very lucky, weather wise, until the final day. Snow was coming in, so we left a day early. Great hikes in the area.We stay in 2-5 VRBO's a year, and we are rarely lucky enough to find a place this nice. Super well equipped kitchen, Plenty of coffee pods, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Owner is nextdoor, if you need something, otherwise you are left alone. We cannot say enough for how wonderful this home is. Comfy bed, nice hot shower, comfortable seating (2 TV's but we never turned one on). Very cool town/area to check out.
This place was awesome, beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and even had fresh Carmel rolls waiting for us. Can’t wait to go back
The bunkhouse is very comfortable and very tidy. It is located in an excellent spot in Deadwood.

Had a wonderful stay! Very clean, great location and host. No issues or complaints, would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice place.
Super clean place in a nice, quiet neighborhood. House had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Trolley stop half a block away is extremely convenient.
This was perfect for the two of us. very clean and comfortable during a few hot days. Details are very well done. An example is the perfect number and position of night lights. Coffee by carafe or Keurig is a nice touch, too. I would gladly stay here again.
What’s not to love! Sure wish we could’ve stayed a little longer. Super clean, super quiet and super comfortable! Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Jay and Pam
My wife and I were both born and raised in Deadwood. The Black Hills has so much to offer. The trails to hike, lakes to fish, woods to hunt, and golf courses to conquer are just a few of the activities we love. Deadwood offers so many great events and concerts. Sharing our area with others is a passion we both enjoy. And you can't beat the people. South Dakotans are friendly and helpful. We love our town!
