Everything was as we expected and the property was well taken care of. Some minor things that I would have wished for: 1) A slightly bigger sink. Washing dishes was a little challenging in such a tiny sink. We were constantly washing dishes to keep the sink empty. Not a huge problem though. 2) A little more counter space. Could just be our preference, but we didn't use the microwave or toaster oven, and would have liked more counter space for cutting fruit, making salads, etc. Two minor exterior bothers: 1) Birds. We didn't take much advantage of the deck simply because the birds would bother us any time we were out there. The surface of the deck and chairs felt in need of a clean. 2) Grilling / food smells from nearby pool area. Not a huge deal, but it's kind of a bother to have to keep the door shut so grilling smells and tiki torch fuel smell wafts into our place. One bother about the Grounds: Parking: with some construction in the parking lot, all the lines have been repainted and they are very narrow and there doesn't seem to be enough for all tenants. We regularly had to park in lots just a bit further from where we could enter the grounds. This was only really a bother when arriving / departing with full bags. All in all, we enjoyed the location of the rental, the rental itself and would stay there again if ever on Kauai. Occupants of the other units were super quiet and chilled out and the grounds are very well taken care of.

With a view like this unit gives you, its pretty hard not to enjoy your stay. Some high points of this rental include; the nice 3rd floor view and a super clean, well stocked rental. We also appreciated the timely profession communications with the garden Island properties staff. A minor annoyance with this unit was that the AC seems to need a tuneup. Like the previous guests, we just left it set at the cool max, and it was comfortable, but similar systems in other units responded much quicker than this one. But, we were comfortable. Overall, an easy place to recommend.

We loved this rental and found it exactly as it was described on VRBO. It was very clean with an amazing view of the ocean. We loved hearing the ocean all night and kept the sliding door opened to enjoy the waves and the rain! We would not hesitate to return to this property in the future!

Nice studio size condo centrally located on edge of Kapaa. Unit was clean and furnished with a few dining amenities with limited cooking facilities. Balcony overlooked the ocean without any obstructions and was just a few steps to the beach. Unit had beach chairs, boogie boards and cooler for daily jaunts to other parts of the island. Condo was comfortable but needs some updating along with new towels and sheets. Enjoyed our stay!

We had the most beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise! The location was great; easy to walk to many restaurants and shops. Bed linens and dishes need updating but otherwise a great place to stay.
