Welcome to our enchanting lakefront home, where tranquility and natural beauty converge to create an unforgettable retreat. Nestled on the shores of a pristine lake, our peaceful haven offers a perfect sanctuary for those seeking solace and rejuvenation. Step into a world of serenity and let the gentle lapping of the waves and the whispering breeze wash away your cares.

The Space:

Enjoy full access to entire 2 bed/ 1 bath sectioned house, front, back and side yards. Back deck with outdoor furniture to seat 10 people, 2 Meeden professional painting tripod, 2 Kayaks, 2 Paddle boards, private dock, games shared between rental guests.

KITCHEN:

Waffle maker, Keurig coffee maker, variety spices, toaster, Stainless steel appliances (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher), full dish ware, cooking essentials, breakfast bar, local wine and wine cups etc.

OUTDOOR SPACE:

Offers a shared large dock with 6 person conversation couch with fire pit and a 4 person seating group, private dock for your boat. Relax with our Meeden Art set with French Easel for painting for both Adult and kids, pre drawn canvas provided.

BEDROOM:

TV’s in each bedroom and living room with plenty of channels to watch and access to all streaming services.

GENERAL:

Keyless entry, high speed free wifi available, complimentary toiletries, central A/C, hair dryer, shower caps, iron/board, trash bags & paper towels, linens & towels, washer/dryer.

Dock is great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, nature watching.

Guest Access:

Private dock with Kayaks, Paddle Boards available for use during your stay.

Plenty of parking

Large deck with patio furniture with TV, fire pit with chairs

You’re more than welcome to bring your own boat, Jet ski, water toys as well.

Disappointed

It’s a shared house that is divided in 2. Someone was always out on the back deck and the house security cameras are all facing into the house so they see everything - very uncomfortable. Tried to kick us out because they thought we turned off the WiFi - I won’t be staying there ever again. Felted harassed and that our space was invaded

First of all, this review is a complete retaliation and very dishonest, making hosting very unpleasant. You completely broke our no-pets policy by bringing your dog and a rabbit. Upon seeing your dog through our outdoor security camera, we reminded you of our strict no-pets policy. You then decided to turn off all our outdoor security cameras and wifi for 2 days. We kept communicating with you to turn them back on, but you refused. We contacted VRBO support, and one of the options recommended was to cancel your reservation. Upon hearing that we were going to cancel your reservation, you decided to comply and pleaded with the Vrbo support team that they should plead with us not to cancel your reservation. We decided to accommodate and tolerate you for another 7 days after we resolved the security camera issue. Come to find out that you disconnected the wifi and then plugged it back in the wrong power input. All our security cameras face the exterior of the property, and that was how we were able to capture your pet photos and share them with VRBO. If the cameras were facing into the house like you claim, I bet you would have called VRBO straight away. Our listing clearly describes the property and mentions in multiple places that the outdoor area is shared among rental guests, and the guest suite is sectioned off by an adjoining door. You are very dishonest, and I hope VRBO bans you from using their platform ever again.

Good Rental

Overall, I this rental covered our needs as we were visiting town on short notice. There were some things like the WiFi router connected to a light switch in the bedroom, not quite enough towels to avoid doing laundry every night, random squeegee in the shower, and I don't think we ever figured out how to turn on the ceiling fan... but those were pretty minor. I was surprised when someone came into the back patio to enter the partitioned master bedroom through the sliding glass door, but when I went back and checked the the listing the shared space was mention in the details. Overall, we were happy with this rental.

Regarding the remote for the fan and the towel situation, we appreciate your feedback. The fan remote was conveniently placed with the other remotes in the living room, and we'll consider adding a label for clarity. Additionally, we provide 8 towels in the rental, typically sufficient for 3 guests over 3 nights. Please know that we're always available to assist, and additional towels could have been promptly provided had we been notified. We're continuously working to improve and appreciate your insights. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
