この施設について

Cottage on River

Guest cottage situated on 2 acres overlooking the Saint Johns River! The attached main house is our residence, however we are very respectful of your privacy. Shared areas are the dock, pool and cabana.
The space
The cottage is a 2-story private attached apartment. Downstairs includes kitchen, dining, bedroom (king bed), bathroom, laundry and living room.

Upstairs is the kids loft with two enclosed twin bunks, bathroom and a playroom. The loft includes a 42” smart TV, and is a cozy spot for children. Please make note that the upstairs ceiling height is low (6 feet) and both rooms are open to the bathroom so there is not a lot of privacy.
Guest access
The cottage has its own private back yard space with tiki hut, for grilling and relaxing. The cottage’s shared spaces and amenities include dock, pool, and parking. 2 kayaks, a canoe and the pool cabana are all available for guests to enjoy.

This area is secluded, but close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants.

We had a great stay. The house was cozy and perfect size, they had everything you would need for your stay.we spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and just hanging out on the patio. Only issue was gps had a hard time finding the house and it was not clear if we were at the right place. We texted the owner and they gave us perfect directions and we settled in quickly.

Owner seemed very nice, and property itself is AMAZING!!! However, the unit is in need of some maintenance & cleaning. And the entire dock really needs to be roped off for safety. The listing mentioned the dock having hurricane damage, but most of the walkway was rotten with very soft boards. My family was looking forward to fishing off whatever part of the dock we could use, but none of it was safe. And the concern wasn’t related to hurricane damage, but structures are not being maintained & rotting. But a gorgeous piece of property!!

Thank you for your honest feedback. Dock repairs begin tomorrow along with a refresh of the property. The owner who maintained the property, was ill and passed away, which led to a decline in maintenance.

Property owner is friendly and helpful. Cottage is nicely equipped, peaceful and has beautiful views. We recommend this location and will return again when visiting St. John’s.

We enjoyed our time at the home, although we weren't there very much. It was clean and comfortable. The description says the upstairs is for kids and it definitely is. One of us slept up there, which was fine, but ceilings are low and it's less polished than downstairs. I would return to the property!

Comfy and peaceful

The cottage was just right for me and my 2 teenagers (15, 19). We were out and about the JAX area for 5 days. It was always a joy to return to the cottage and chill between events. The hosts are gracious and friendly. I had interesting conversations with each while relaxing by the pool. They made their property welcoming for me and my family. What a treat!
