House was very nice but the entire reason we came was to fish and the steps were overgrown leading to a drop off in the water where the only option to fish was if you were willing to stand on big rocks the entire time smersed in water. Do not reccomend if you're looking to fish at the house.

Hi Laura, I have hosted several guests who enjoyed fishing in the area. I checked your reservation and confirmed we had zero communication from you before or during your stay. There are many areas to fish nearby and you can certainly go in the water from the house if you’d like, just as shown in the listing photos. I am always available and happy to answer any questions, provide suggestions and, recommendations which could have helped you make a decision if your trip was based solely on fishing from the property.

The view of the Potomac River from the front deck was so relaxing. The host was very helpful and we had a wonderful time. This is a great place to get away from the crowds in downtown Harper’s Ferry. It’s a quiet friendly neighborhood.

Awesome Rental

We had an amazing stay at this property. The beds are way comfortable. The deck with fire pit allows you to have relaxing evenings.🔥 Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

The house is minutes away from downtown Harper’s Ferry, Shepherdstown, Charles Town, hiking trails, whitewater rafting, historic sites, the Charles Town casino and much more. The house is located in a peaceful, quiet, friendly and private neighborhood, with waterfront views and private access to the Potomac River. By every measure, this house is considered to be in a great location.

We had a beautiful two night stay at the waterfront property in Harpers Ferry! We pulled into the driveway on the first night and found a mother deer with two baby fawns. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled in and saw some beautiful chickens on the neighbor's property next door. Was fun to wake up in the mornings and sip tea on the porch overlooking the river and all of the wildlife! Loved the property and the communication!
