Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a very relaxing week in your cabin!! Kelly was very helpful with local hikes. We loved hiking to the top of the bluff and looking down at the cabin.

One very clear night, my husband and son saw at least a dozen shooting stars. Something we definitely do not see in the city.

We are so glad we found this! Just what our family needed this year!

Clean and well kept cabin with privacy

  • 5 of 5

Clean and well kept, organized and beautiful. The wood work was fantastic and the cabin layout was nice and simple for us. The level yard up to the pond was great for outdoor activities and there was a nice fire pit all set up with some cut and split fire wood next to it. Everything was Well thought out and really tried to make us feel welcome!

Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous views!

  • 5 of 5

This setting is so amazingly beautiful! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy it, but we went to Acadia National Park all day and days are getting shorter! We would definitely rent here again if in the area. Very clean. We had two adult couples, and the upstairs has twin beds and is very creaky from below since the ceilings aren't insulated or sheet rocked, but for a couple with younger kids...perfect! Kelly was so wonderful to work with also. Great two days in the area!

Beautiful Property

  • 5 of 5

Perfect lake setting, the cottage was beautiful (newer construction), but still had a relaxed camp feel. There is a great little fire pit lakeside, with comfy patio furniture. The dock is good size and sturdy. We found the lake to be the perfect size for us. Small enough to be able to paddle all the way around in the canoe and to not get too choppy when the wind kicks up. We bravely took a dip (mid-Sept) and while the water was a bit chilly, it was clear and there is a nice gradual slope so an adult could walk out to about the end of the dock and still be at waist level. Nice spot for families. Our only complaint is that we didn't book it longer. :) We fully expect to return if the cottage is available on ou

Perfect private outdoor getaway: cabin, lake, firepit, and a farm!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this peaceful Maine cabin. It was just perfect for our young toddlers. Plenty of outdoor space to run around, roast marshmallows on the fire pit, swim in the lake, play in the sand, and even say good morning to the horses, chickens, and pigs. We couldn't have asked for a perfect place to spend a week away from it all. Being 10 minutes away from town life, we spent most of our time at the Cabin, grilling and swimming. We took 2 day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park which took about 45 minutes to get too. Worth a trip! We had a few hot Summer nights so remember to bring a Fan since there's no A/C in the cabin.
