Our stay here was excellent! When we arrived, the house was clean and exactly as the pictures showed. Our group enjoyed the outdoor area with the hot tubs, the large kitchen and dining room table, and the huge living room! Absolutely no complaints here! Highly recommend staying at the lodge!

We had a fantastic holiday weekend at the lodge with three generations of our extended family. The reservation and check-in were seamless, and host communication was top-notch. Our favorite part of the spacious lodge was the great room with ample seating and breathtaking views, next to a large kitchen that hosted meals, games, and puzzles. Or maybe it was the refreshing pool with a patio and basketball hoop? We stayed during a heat wave, and the powerful air conditioning kept everyone cool. The location couldn’t be better! We hiked quite a few of the gorgeous local trails, tried out a local golf course, and swam in Lake Logan. There were a few minor mechanical issues we found upon arrival, and we were impressed with the prompt and friendly service. If you are looking for a memorable family getaway, Among the Trees will meet your every need.

Family Christmas Gathering

Overall this is a nice place. Though there was a Christmas tree as requested, there was no way to light the tree. I reached out via text and asked how we can turn on the tree and never received a response. Unfortunately we did not have a lighted Christmas tree for our Christmas. I know not having a tree is not the end of the world, but not responding to your renter was very disappointing. The property states that the main kitchen as a refrigerator that has a bottom freezer which is incorrect. It has a regular refrigerator with a top freezer. Not sure if the septic tank needed emptying but there was a noticeable sewage odor. The room with a lot of pictures is very small and really not suitable for 2 people. Lastly, the room with the 2 beds in it has no blinds/curtains and is located on the other side of the room with the 3 single beds. So you have to walk through the bedroom with the 3 single beds to get to the room with 2 beds. I do not recommend any adults unless you want to sleep with your children right next to you. The view is gorgeous and there is plenty of space for parking. The place is beautiful and has spacious communal areas. I would recommend this place for family gatherings but be aware of these small things before booking.

The pictures and description of this place don’t do this amazing property justice! I have been to many rental properties and so far this has taken the cake. Beautiful peaceful get away from life. If your group is looking for a retreat, this is the place!
