Perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the ocean view from bedroom, living area and lanai. Just right for two. Will keep this one on my list for future visit.

Nice place but tired

Need to upgrade kitchen items. There were only 3 cups. Refrigerator needs new water filter and porch furniture was rusty so needs replaced or cushions. Bathroom needs major refresh.

Great location, needs refreshing

Great location, easy access to beach and Sanctuary resort. Nice views of beach and ocean from windows and small deck. Interior is well-used, furniture needs refreshing, kitchen cabinets and dishes also show their age. But very acceptable for short-term rental, property was clean and convenient. Rental agency responsive to issues (no hangers). Just short of a 5-star rating.

Loved the small table near the window making you able to enjoy the beach even when the outside was too cold for morning cup a tea on the balcony! Condo was very clean, looked exactly as pictured. So glad we took advantage of the the beach gear credit. The bike trails on Kiawah are great!! Really enjoyed all the wildlife ( deer, alligators and bald eagles) We look forward to coming back again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed with the unit. The porch was very small, the sofa bed had a horrible stain on it, sheets for the sofa bed were requested prior to arrival & were not in unit so we had to call, only 3 coffee cups did not have chips in the rim & many of the other plates were chipped, only 3-4 teaspoons in drawer, and one pan put away had so much crude in it that it required soaking. One could not go barefooted in the unit due to receiving very dirty and sandy feet. The price we paid for the unit was not worth it. We will be looking for another unit and/or agency for 2022.

There were no hangers. Brought to us the next day. Need a hot pad, and clean under the bed, very dusty as I looked for a lost earring. Otherwise very nice, with a comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

Comfy and Cozy

We loved the comfort and coziness of this place. The furnishings and the bed were plush and comfy. All the linens were extra nice quality. Everything was very clean and smelled nice. We especially delighted in the view of the beach from the bedroom, desk area and balcony. I enjoyed my morning devotional from the desk or balcony each day, and it was so special! It was lovely to hear the sound of the ocean at night as we slept, as well. The location of the unit is so convenient to the elevator, stairs, and the boardwalk, with the walk to the beach only taking a couple minutes. Our only complaint, and this is from my husband because it didn’t matter to me, 🤣 was the tv reception was often interrupted, going out altogether for no reason, at times. Otherwise the internet was good! We highly recommend the property to those on vacay or those interested in buying a property, as we noticed it was listed fir sale inline.

The only downside was we were told last minute there was going to be a yearly termite inspection while there. We asked for that to be delayed or done before we got there and were told no. When we explained that under "normal" times we understood but with COVID we really did not want anyone in unit. They refused our request again. We booked this type of unit so we would not have to be around people, have place to ourselves, etc.We also felt with everything we needed to check and sign that we were buying the property rather than renting it!

Very nice

This condo is bright, clean and cheery with nice ocean views and very convenient location for beach goers like me. I have only a few small recommendations that were not important enough to manage during my stay. Clothing storage was a small issue with only one small dresser, providing more closet hangers would fix the problem. Also, both televisions have issues. I would still stay here again even with these minor issues.

We had one problem when we arrived, but they were there to take care of the problem very quickly. The only thing that was at all unsatisfactory was the fact that the elevator did not go all the way to the ground, and there was not a ramp to help get your belongings up to the floor where the elevator was located. The only other thing I could suggest is that there be towels in the kitchen. The view was nice and the porch was a plus!

Oceanfront Windswept Villa

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having visited Kiawah Island for 25 years, we often stay in a Windswept villa. There is a lovely ocean view from the balcony, master bedroom and one living room window, due to the stepped back design of the Windswept villas, the view is from the side of the building straight to the ocean. It’s nice to be up high on the third floor. The renovated villa has everything you would need, it was clean and comfortable with a beachy vibe. Our king bed was very comfortable. I could not vouch for the comfort of the sofa bed. Two very cozy armchairs are in the living room, and two deck chairs on the balcony. We rode the rental bikes all over Kiawah on the 30 miles of paved trails. Played golf on two courses and enjoyed the beach. A very nice two weeks at #4455.

I do wish the air conditioning worked better. It’s was mid sixties to lower seventies while we were there and the A/C could not keep up. That was the only negative. Everything else was wonderful.
